The Nanny

My name is Lilly Eliot, I work as a full-time child caretaker or a “Nanny” for short. I’ve always loved children and what inspired me into being a nanny was when I gave birth to my twin daughters Christine and Abigail .

I had my daughters when I was 18.It had been my graduation night and me and my boyfriend Michel went out to celebrate at my best friend Cathy’s beach house for the grad party. You can probably imagine what happened that night basically to many beers and ...yeah. 

The next couple of weeks we spent every waking moment with each other because we had been excepted to different universities, he had gotten into this fancy acting school, while I got into one for mechanical engineering. I had expected to spend the rest of the summer with him, but he had to go almost two months early because his mother was making him go to summer acting classes, so we made the most of the time we had.

              Four weeks after he had left I found out I was pregnant, I tried calling multiple times but couldn’t reach him. I went over to his parents house and tried to explain to his mother that never liked me, that I was pregnant, she 

made me swear not to tell Michel because she thought it would ruin his chance to be an actor, which I thought was true. I packed up my bags and moved to California, which was pretty far from Vancouver. 

Once I got there I stayed with my cousin Jessica and her four kids to give her some help while her husband was working in Afghanistan as a doctor and with her nursing job in Sacramento she had to travel six days out of the week, so I had to take care of Lizzy and Charlie the two youngest for most of the days, except when their grandmother came to take them out for the day or something like that.

After what seemed like forever, in late march I finally gave birth to my beautiful daughters. I felt such a relief that they were healthy, not like most babies born to young mothers. 

So after three years I moved out of the house and moved into an apartment and started going to the nearest university for child services studies.

So after the years went by I thought of Michel ,how he was becoming this amazing actor who was making millions now with new girlfriends yet never knowing he was a father and the girls would never have their father to care for them
