Chapter 21: Ignition

I planned this one more thoroughly.  And it took FOREVER!!!

I am sorry this chapter is short. And it's significantly shorter than most chapters.

I walk through the halls, delivering the files as usual. Right as i reach the elevator,  i smell a strong scent of burning paper. I walk away from the elevator, and look to my right, smoke coming out of the nearest room. I slowly approach the room, but as soon as i look inside the whole thing goes up in flames.

"Ah!"

No one was there, thankfully, and i run to America's office right nearby. 

"AMERICA!!"

"What??" He turns around ,looking at me with a confused expression.

"the room next door is on fire!"

"It's WHAT!?" His face looks more serious now, his sunglasses resting on his nose. 

"just-...let's go!" I take his hand and drag him out of the room, away from the fire source. He whines, and looks at me, exausted.

"How do you bare this pain??" Ame says, panting. 

"shh, I'll tell you later." I say. "Pick up the pace before i pick up you." My tone is stern and harsh.

"Okay, damn..." He runs faster, trying to keep up with me.

Every door i walk past ignites into a firey blaze, seeming the timing to be a tad bit too perfect. When i look at a non-burning door, it uproars into a huge overwhelming rectangle of fire. Ame twitches with each burst, but i just sigh and drag him alone. After about 3 minutes, we reach Russia's door. It goes up in flames as i open it.

"Russia! Get out! Everything is on fire! Including this door!" I yell. He pauses, and then nods and then follows me and Ame. 

Everyone we come across is warned as we run and run. Suddenly, russia stops. He signals for Ame to take the lead and it's just us in the hallway. 

"y/n. Stop for a second." He says quietly, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"..."

He takes his gloves off and puts them in front of me. "take them."

I take the gloves and the second i do, they set on fire and burn to a crisp.

Crap.

"So he did...y/n, i know you're a human. Humans dont act like this. Either EU did something to you or you're not a human. I'm asking you to tell me the truth. If you're not human tell me."

"..." I don't say a word or make a peep, the only sound the burning fire around us. Too quiet. He sighs, and looks at me.

"Y/n, I'm not gonna ask. I know you're not human."

"..." Im stunned.

"I saw you weren't struggling in the fire. That's not normal. Im  sacrificing myself for this. I can't survive such fire." He says. "If you want me to survive, answer me. Is what i said true? Are you a flora glitch?"

I stay still, then slowly nod. "Russia, i....guess you know now.." I whisper. He nods, and puts his index finger on my chin, causing me to look up at him.

"I know you're strong, da?" Russia asks with a slight smile. "You ARE strong, and none of this is because of you."

"Uh huh.."

"You can stay with me if you want to...it would be safe. Do you want to?" He asks,looking into my eyes with a look that reads "please say yes". I wait, then slowly nod. His eyes light up and he smiles. " yay! You'll have fun, Y/n!" He says, and grabs my hand. "Let's go now, okay?"

"yeah. Let's go." I follow him out of the building

Bibi slams her hands on the table. " PARK DALYEO!!"

Dalyeo rushes over and looks afraid. She has Y/n in her hands. "Bibi i found her. I found her." Dalyeo pants. Y/n tries to escape but  they clearly fail.

"Y/n, you've befriended so many. I'm impressed. But you can't have everyone in the world." Bibi says,  with a teasing tone. 

"what is it that you want?" Y/n growls. They have no mood for this bullshit. Bibi smiles, and removes Y/n from Dalyeo's arms.

"I'm coming to this world. You will make me friends with all you are friends with." 

Y/n's expression turned gray. They gave Bibi a stare, and then slowly nodded.
