I lay my back against the wall of my closet to face my computer. It was a small closet, just enough to barely fit me and some other things.
My name is Y/n, L/n. I work as a freelance artist making money by drawing anime commissions and designing and rigging vtuber models. My favorite thing I like to do is watch Hololive, a vtuber agency.
Some of my drawings have even been liked by some of the members. They have over 40 members, but getting even one of them to notice me is hard. That's any fan artist's dream anyway.
Some of them did notice me and did like my artwork but I want more people to look at my art too.I step outside of my closet to buy some groceries. I head down to the store just thinking, 'My life's pretty depressing despite me just watching anime girls all day and drawing anime art.'
Oh, well. I stare at the road, looking for oncoming traffic, but not for the usual reason. No traffic had passed by so I continued walking down to the convenience store, annoyed at the barrage of commissions I've gotten recently, but it does show progress on my very vague goal.
Strangely, a woman wearing white partially reflective clothing bumped into me from the side despite being in her line of sight. She simply walked past me. She seemed to have dropped something.
Y/n: Ah, ma'am, your-
She vanished before I could finish my sentence. How strange. I pick up the thing she dropped. It was partially reflective, in the shape of a wireframe triangle.
She looked like someone from Hololive, but I can't recall who... my mind is probably playing tricks on me, or maybe I just want to see a Hololive cosplayer or both.
As I blinked the scenery changed, it was still night, but I was in grassy fields, next to a giant silhouette of a sword.
Y/n: What is this....you're kidding...! Did I get isekai'd?! Awesome...
I was attracted to the festive lights of a nearby village. I could make out statues of giant wolves in the distance. And so, looking for a place to stay and learn more about this place, I headed there.
My whole body was made out of questions, 'What was this world called? Where exactly in the world am I? Where was that.. triangle thingy?'
I pulled out the triangle while walking towards the village. 'Was it this thing that brought me here? Where's that shiny cape woman now? Did she bring
me here?'I cut my hand holding the pointy tips of the triangle. Ow. I dropped it in a shock of pain. How annoying. I picked it up and pocketed it and continued walking until I arrived at the village, and it truly looked like a festival. I could only make out a crowd with some glances of stalls through the cracks of people. The smell of dango took my interest, but I resisted as I didn't have any money. Besides that, I wanted to explore more anyways.
'This is so cool, yet so confusing...'
A chill is sent up my spine as I feel the gaze of watchful eyes.
'What...'
I turn around just for my eyes to meet some girl with wolf ears with a cape trying to slash at me with her sword.
I barely dodged her attack.?: You're pretty agile for a human against a wolf.
She said that with the coldest look of malice in her eyes. Maybe that's why I got a chill sent down my spine.
?: We, the Ookami shrine's protectors of Miyako, the patrol company, will extinguish you at once! You have so much stigma, you disgust me.
I looked at her with confusion. 'Stigma? Miyako? Protector..? That sentence was a mouthful too.' I think to myself as she deals a slow slash at me. 'Is she pulling a trick? Why is she so slow..'
