•North Korea•

I slowly opened his eyes and was greeted by the damp ceiling of his room. As I began to sit up a strange sensation began burning in my throat and I started coughing hard with a bit of blood coming up. Each cough was like a stab to my head and chest, sending waves of pain through out my body.

After about an hour the coughing finally stopped, but my chest still felt like it was on fire. I had to just ignore it. I then grabbed a towel near his bed and wiped my mouth, spitting the remaining blood into the towel. Despite feeling weak and sickly, I got up from my bed and began getting ready.

With shaky hands, I reached for my threadbare uniform, while trying to ignore the gnawing pains of hunger in my stomach. My countries food rations have been scarcer than usually lately, and I knew I was getting nowhere near enough nutrients to be healthy. Nevertheless, I had to try to look presentable.

I struggled a little as I put on the scratchy, ill-fitting shirt and pants, my body ached all over from the Tuberculosis and fever that has been plaguing me for months, and now mixed with some recurrent migraine. I didn't even have access to the proper medication to treat any of the symptoms. And I sure wasn't planning on begging any of the countries for some. I'd rather die!

After heading to the bathroom and splashing some water into my face and attempting to comb my hair. I then hid my cat ears in my hat, and my tail in my pants. I then gulped down a cup of weak watery tea, I then set out into the chilly hallways.

*At North Koreas office*

I slowly made my way through the Pyongyang residence and into my office. Despite feeling sick and lightheaded, I had work to get done. I sat down and began working on some papers.

As I was filling out some paperwork, trying to focus through his illness, an army commander officer burst into his office.

"Sir, I have a letter for you, it seems to be from NATO" the officer said, putting the letter on my desk and then leaving.

I picked up the letter and started to feel unsure about opening it, especially since not long ago I had been testing technologies and had launched 2 medium-rage ballistic missiles around 2,800 miles (4,500 km) away from japans shore. I really hoped that the letter wasn't about that. Nonetheless, I opened the envelope and read the letter.

I began reading the letter from NATO and learn that there was going to be a meeting tomorrow, and I'm expected to attend. The letter also stated that there were things that needed to be discussed with me and the rest of the countries. The letter doesn't mention anything about the missiles which I hope is good but it could just be so I show up.

As I read the letter, I couldn't help but think about how I couldn't possibly attend the meeting in my current state, but I knew I had to. It was either come willingly or someone would be dragging my ass there. I just decided to end work early today and decided to go back to my room to rest.
