In my au South Korea is the older sibling cause the flag before they Korea split looks closer to South Korea's flag
*North Korea*
Today is the day of the meeting and I'm currently standing on the platform waiting for the train to take me to that stupid fucking meeting with NATO and the rest of the countries, and luckily for me today, I felt worse than ever. As I stand on the platform, I was at a state of near collapse, with food and medicine shortages affecting the population in unimaginable ways.
As I wait on the train, I feel myself becoming a little light headed and dizzy. I try to shake it off, telling myself that I had a meeting to attend to and couldn't let a little sickness stop me. I reached for my pocket, where I usually kept some medicine to help ease his discomfort, but found it wasn't there. I must have forgotten it in such a rush to leave.
I leaned against the brick wall, feeling weak and vulnerable, while waiting for the train. That's when I heard a familiar voice call my name, it was South Korea. I turned around to see his older brother standing there.
"What are you doing here?" South Korea asked.
"Got a letter from NATO saying I need to come to this stupid fucking meeting," I replied leaning on the brick wall
"That's surprising," South Korea remarked. "I didn't think you'd actually show up."
I just shrugged. "I just do what I have to do."
South Korea began looking at me extremely closely and I guess he noticed how sickly I looked. "Hey North, you don't look to good, are you alright?" South Korea asked me.
"I'm fine," I replied trying to reassure him.
"You don't look fine," South Korea said.
"In fact, you look terrible. Have you been eating properly?" South Korea asked worriedly as he cupped my face with his hands.I looked away. I didn't want to admit it, but the truth was that I hadn't been eating much at all. The food shortage in my country just had hit me to hard.
South Korea then sighed. "You should have told me," South said. "I could have helped you, and if not me China would. We may be divided by ideology, but we're still brothers. I don't like seeing you like this."
I felt a lump in my throat. For so long, I had considered South Korea to be a enemy. But his words touched me deeply.
Finally, the train arrived, and both South Korea and I boarded, feeling both relieved and apprehensive. The trip ahead would be long and tiring, but I had a job to do. As I settled into my seat and leaned my head onto South Korea's shoulder, I felt a sense of gratitude towards my southern neighbor. As I began falling asleep, I thought about the fact that maybe they were brothers after all.
