The start of something new

INTRO:

Y/n just left from Arlington, Texas her hometown just to move to Woodsboro, California to go to the same school as her best friend Casey Becker. Casey has been her bestfriend since she was born but had to move away when she was three due to her dad's work. Y/n has always been the quiet and shy type of person when you first meet them but once you get to know her better she's a goofball and a bad ass. 

Y/n has always liked romance and horror movies she couldn't get enough of them, those movies were the only things keeping her alive at the moment. Y/n's life has been very difficult for her since her dad died when she was 8 and her mom became a fulltime business woman with a lot of money but was sadly an alcoholic at home. Leila Y/n's  mom decided to move to Woodsboro to "  expand her knowledge " as she says but Y/n knew she was full of bullshit, she just wanted to find a wealthy man to get her hands on and take all his money but honestly Y/n couldn't agree less on her mom's way of getting rich.

Y/N POV :

     I stared out of my mom's 1977 Lincoln continental town coupe window seeing all the trees pass by the car. Mom how close are we I say getting a bit carsick as I say those words "only 10 more minutes till we get to the new house" I sighed and kept listening to the mix tape my friend Zoe made for me as a goodbye gift with all my favorite songs but my top favorite song  is "Insane In The Brain" by Cypress Hill I started to sing my little heart out as well as my mom THESE PIGS WANNA BLOW MY HOUSE DOWN HEAD UNDERGROUND TO THE NEXT TOWN !!!  me and my mom began to sing. 

    We're here announced my mom I got out of the car and admired it's beautiful scenery it's outside was beige with a brown roof and a small shed in the back with a lot of acres worth of land "You see the house down the road those are the Macher's go say hi when we are done packing up " mom said I rolled my eyes and went inside the house it has a two way staircase with tinted windows and 2  floors as well as an attic , mom managed to snag this house by sleeping with the realtor selling the house,  kind of weird how she managed to play all of this off in one night. I went up to the second floor  looking for a room to claim as "mine" I walked to the left of the staircase were there was a long hallway a walked a couple of steps until I walked into the door on the right as soon I entered I knew I wanted it, there was a a huge window with a little ledge to sit on and a queen size bed to le left of it I walked further in when I saw a bathroom perfect I thought my thoughts were interrupted by mom mom calling my name to help her with the boxes I sighed and placed my bags on the floor and ran down the stairs I quickly grabbed 2 boxes that belong to me and headed back to my room I placed them on my carpeted white floor and ran back down the stairs to help with more boxes and placed them where they belonged my mom thanked me and dismissed me back to my room.

       I quickly open one of the boxes that were labeled BED with my switchblade my dad gave me when I was six engraved with my initials YRL (Y/n Rose L/n) I swiped the knife across the thin tape shutting it sealed.  I took out everything out of the boxes and placed it in it's place when i heard mom knock on the door "Sweetie since you are done go say hi to the neighbors and you could stay there for a while if they let you ok , be home before dinner" mom said I rolled my eyes and I thought great another one of her plans to get me away from the house  I checked my wrist watch to see what time it is 12! I said to myself dinner is until 7 I shook my head and thought I could just walk around or call Casey real quick to see where she lived so I could ask mom to drive me there.

          I changed to my oversized Jamie lee Curtis Scream Queen shirt with some baggy jeans and placed my zip up hoodie on top I placed my pocket knife on my back pocket and slid down the stairs saying bye to my mom on the way down. I shut the door and got on my skateboard and went to the neighbors house  reluctantly I knocked on the door and waited awkwardly on the front porch I heard some stomping towards the door and saw a boy around my age. "yes?'" he said a bit annoyed I cringed and kept talking. Hey I'm Y/n I'm your new neighbor and my mom said I needed to say hi and get to spend time with you guys or something like that but that's her way of getting me out of the house I said in a alarming speed he stood there confused then socked the back to confused " Alrighty!! my parents are out of town and my girlfriend is here" he said i nodded in response he took out his hand "Stu Macher" Y/N L/n I said taking his hand and shacking it lightly "come in" he said he took me inside where I see a pretty blonde girl sitting on his couch watching friends "who was at the door babe?" she asked she turned around and saw me there standing awkwardly looking around the house "it's the new neighbor her name is Y/n" Stu said she quickly got up and shook my hand "Tatum riley" she introduce herself that's a pretty name I said she smiled and said thank you Stu invited me to sit on his couch I sat down but in weird way in an uncomfortable way to be exact.
