My Werewolf Boy

Story

Luka Couffaine was a very unusual kid in many ways. For one thing, he had blue hair and ocean blue eyes. And another thing, he was a werewolf. Yes! A real-life werewolf. He had inherited it from his dad who was also a wolf. No one outside their family knew about this. Not even his best friend Marinette, a very clumsy but sweet girl, knew about it. Luka and Marinette were friends since 8th grade. They did everything together; They studied together, had sleepovers and played music. But Luka never told her about him being so different from other people because he was afraid of losing her.

Luka woke up the next morning, got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast.his dad was already in the kitchen reading the morning paper while drinking tea. Luka sat down at the table and was glad to see that his mom had prepared breakfast before going to see her aunt.
'Morning son' said his dad looking up from the paper.
'Morning Dad' said Luka airily starting on his pancakes.
The clock on the mantelpiece rang eight o'clock.
'Yikes! I'm gonna be late' said Luka. He gulped down the rest of his food, grabbed his bag and ran out the door saying 'bye Dad'.
As he stepped out onto the pavement a girl with dark blue hair and bluebell eyes came running up the road.
'Hi Luka' she said and clumsily tripped over her own shoe laces 'Wah..!'She crashed into luka and fell on top of him.
'Hey Marinette ' said Luka , who was used to her clumsiness.
Marinette just stared at him, her face turning red.

'Err... Your kinda heavy' said luka grinning.
'Oh! Yeah.' cried Marinette, hurriedly getting off him.
'Your still the same clumsily cute girl, huh?' said Luka, who quite liked the silly girl.
'Y...yes..' she said, looking down, still blushing.
'Hey, cheer up' said putting his arm around her.
They started walking and Marinette started to cheer up
'Anything new? ' asked Marinette .
'Yes,there's a Halloween Festival today at tall timbers park. I was hoping you'd come with me'.
'Oh!' said Marinette blushing again 'I...'
'I mean as friends' said Luka hastily 'It's ok if you don't want to come'.
'No, no I'll come' said Marinette still blushing.
'I'll also ask all our friends to come'
They reached their school, Tall Timbers High School, with twenty minutes to spear.As they walked down the hall Marinette suddenly froze.
'What's up?' Marinette just stared forward at a tall, blonde haired boy. Luka recognised him. He was one their friends called Adrien. Luka knew why Marinette had just frozen. He knew that she had a huge crush on him.
'See you at break' cried Marinette and ran off to her homeroom.
Luka quickly went around telling his friends about the Fall fair then went to his locker to grab his books. Just then he heard a voice that was unfortunately very familiar.
'Hey... LC!' It was the captain of the cheer leaders and the most popular girl in school, 'Susie Crabgrass'
Luka rolled his eyes and finished packing his bag. Usually guys were head over heels for her but not Luka.
'I've told you not to call me that Susie.' said Luka
'Why do you even hang out with that Marinette anyway?' asked Susie, seeming to not have heard him. 'She' s clumsy and always embarrassing herself. I'm far more prettier than her and I'm the most popular girl in school'.
This was more than Luka could handle.
'Enough Susie, Marinette may be clumsy but she' s the sweetest, funniest, most talented and most beautiful girl I know' he said and walked away, leaving Susie, who was taken aback .
