Ch 3.4

After leaving the office, Chaeyin looks at the time. Its past 7 in the evening. She decides to stop by the coffee shop as its been quite some time since she last visited the coffee shop.

"although the shop might be closed by now, I can still take a chance. Maybe its open because of the coffee festival?"

The coffee festival is organised every year by certain coffee shops in Seoul. The festival usually goes on for a week, some shops organise it for the whole week, while some does it for a day. Some starts the festival from the first day of the week, while some delays it. Keeping this in mind, she hopes for the coffee shop to be open.

But when she reaches the shop, she finds that it is closed

"so they didn't start the festival yet..."

A teenager comes out of the shop who seems a bit familiar to her. The teenager spots her looking at him and asks, "oh? you're a customer, right?" He remembers her as she seemed close with the owner

Then she realises that the teenager works in the coffee shop "yes, it seems the shop is closed, I'll come back during the festival"

" sure, you can come tomorrow. We're actually almost done organizing, so we're thinking of opening the shop for the coffee festival from tomorrow till the end of the week" the teenager explains

She looks at the box he was holding "do you need help?"

" oh no, how can I ask help from you. Also, this box is quite heavy" the teenager politely refuses to get help

"whats inside?" Chaeyin questions

"Books. We're clearing out the shelves in the private room. We're planning to open the room for the selected customers diring the festival" the teenager proudly states their plan

"that sounds interesting!"

Hearing a conversation taking place outside, the owner comes out to have a look. She is surprised to see Chaeyin "my dear! how long has it been since you last visited? But its so late, are you on your way back home?"

Chaeyin bows to the owner " I'm glad I stopped by here since I got to see you, grandma"

" you shouldn't walk around the strees alone so late though" the owner says with a concerned look

" I normally travel by a taxi or the bus, so don't worry, grandma. Anyways, I heard you're preparing for the coffee festival, do you need a hand?"

"were you guys talking about that? Theres not much to do, you should come in though. I'll make you something" the owner comes closer to Chaeyin and places her hand on her shoulder as a gesture to call her in

Chaeyin smiles at the owner, then she looks at the teenager, "you said its heavy, so you shouldn't keep holding it for a long time"

"ah, right" the teenager quickly bows and goes to somewhere that seemed like a storage area

Chaeyin then follows the owner in "grandma, you don't have to make anything for me"

" how can I do that?" the owner refuses to change her mind

Holding a box, Jungkook comes out of the private room.

" thats right! he's the bear knight you were looking for" the owner tells Chaeyin on spotting him

Jungkook looks at the person standing beside the owner and stops in his tracks. He quickly starts running his mind a hundred miles in a second, finding an excuse

Chaeyin didn't expect him to be here after he left the company " I've met him already, grandma"

The owner looks surprised " you did? where? how?"
