Artemisia had always been a fierce warrior, known for her tactical mind and her unyielding loyalty to the Persian Empire. But when she met Y/N, the younger sister of Xerxes, everything changed. Y/N was kind, intelligent, and beautiful, and Artemisia found herself drawn to her in a way she had never experienced before.

Their first meeting was at a diplomatic gathering, where Artemisia was representing the Persian Empire. Y/N was there with her brother, and Artemisia couldn't help but notice the way Y/N's eyes sparkled as she spoke about her love for art and literature. They exchanged pleasantries, and Artemisia found herself wanting to know more about Y/N.

They met again a few weeks later, at a banquet hosted by Xerxes. This time, Artemisia was more direct, asking Y/N to dance with her. As they moved together on the dance floor, Artemisia felt a strange sense of comfort and belonging with Y/N. She found herself wanting to protect Y/N, to make her happy, and to be with her always.

Over the next few weeks, they began to see each other more frequently. They would talk about their hopes and dreams, their fears and doubts. They would go on walks in the gardens, admiring the beauty of the flowers and the trees. They would share meals together, laughing and teasing each other.

Artemisia knew that their relationship was forbidden, as Y/N was the sister of the King. But she couldn't help her feelings for Y/N. She knew that she loved her, and she wanted to be with her, no matter the cost.

One night, as they were sitting on a balcony overlooking the city, Artemisia took Y/N's hand.

"Y/N, I know that our love is forbidden," she said, her voice trembling. "But I can't help how I feel. I love you, and I want to be with you, always."

Y/N looked at her, her eyes shining with emotion.

"I love you too, Artemisia," she said, taking Artemisia's other hand. "But I cannot betray my brother or my people."

Artemisia felt a surge of sadness and frustration. She knew that Y/N was right, but she couldn't help feeling like their love was doomed.

But then, Y/N spoke again.

"However, there is a way," she said, hesitantly. "My brother has always wanted to make peace with the Greeks. If you can help him achieve that, he may be willing to grant us his blessing."

Artemisia felt a glimmer of hope. She knew that making peace with the Greeks was a difficult task, especially because she hated them because of her past, but she was willing to do anything for her Y/N.

Over the next few months, Artemisia worked tirelessly to broker a peace treaty between the Persians and the Greeks. She met with the Greek leaders, listened to their concerns, and found ways to compromise. It was a difficult task, but Artemisia was determined to succeed. " For Y/N, for our relationship," she jeeps reminding herself.

Finally, after months of negotiations, the treaty was signed. The Greeks and the Persians would live in peace, and Artemisia and Y/N were free to be together.

Artemisia knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Y/N. She wanted to make her happy, to protect her, to be her life partner. And so, she planned a proposal that would befit the princess of Persia.

She organized a grand ceremony, inviting all the nobles and dignitaries of the Persian Empire. She wore her finest armor, and she had Y/N dressed in the most beautiful gown. As they stood in front of the crowd, Artemisia took a knee and presented Y/N with a ring.

"Y/N, my love," she said, her voice clear and strong. "Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife, of being the princess of Persia?"

The crowd held its breath, waiting for Y/N's response. But Y/N didn't hesitate.

"Yes, Artemisia," she said, tears streaming down her face. "I will marry you, and be your life partner, in love, and in war."

The crowd erupted in cheers, and Artemisia and Y/N shared a kiss that was filled with love and passion. They knew that their journey together would not be easy, but they were willing to face any challenge, as long as they were together.

As they walked away, hand in hand, Artemisia felt a sense of peace and contentment that she had never felt before. She knew that she had found her true love, her soulmate, her life partner. And she knew that she would do anything to protect Y/N and make her happy, no matter the cost.
