Mixels: A Journey Beyond

The Visitor, part 1 | Chapter 1

Larreye was sitting at the calm morning shore of limbster island, enjoying the view, as the sky suddenly turned to an unnaturally-saturated shade of dark blue. Larreye could not let a single word out, he could only gaze in beautiful awe of cosmos, opening up upon him. A bright yellow wormhole rips open, launching something down onto planet mixel... and towards Larreye. "OH SCHNI—" Larreye quickly got out of the way of the meteor, preparing for a cloud of sand once it collides with the ground.

The object stopped it's fall mid-air, twitching, spinning, bopping in place; left-right, up and down, side-to-side, all around, until the shape gained a mixel-esque appearance. Upon hearing it yawn, Larreye's suspicions were confirmed - It was a mixel, and it had what appeared to be big eyes on stems! The mixel looked at the big-eyed limbster, before fully turning to him.

"Hello sir, do you know what this place is?" - the mysterious mixel said - "It seems like i lost my way..."

"and who are you shupposhed to be!?" - Larreye asked in confusion - "You almosht shquashed me flat!" he continued.

"Oh, I am so sorry, I didn't mean to! Honestly!" The weird mixel bowed deeply. As the mixel bowed low enough for Larreye to see the back, he noticed that the "stems" were actually arms, and the eyes... the eyes were fake! Larreye stopped inspecting the bowing mixel, stepped back, and said

"it'sh fine, really... My name ish Larreye, and you?"

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Larreye!" - The visitor said - "Please, call me Ghlouai." Ghlouai reaches his hand out for a handshake, but once Larreye grabs Ghlouai's arm, it starts turning to stone Both mixels pull back their hands in shock, both of them letting out a single question.

"What ISH thish?" "What WAS that?"
