Hitoshi felt his heart pumping in his ears as he ran away from the kids behind him, they yelled obscenities at him as he rounded a corner, running into awaiting arms in front of him.

He pushed backwards in panic, only to see
Y/n's eyes peering back down at him, patting his head and holding him protectively.

The kids came around the corner, met with a tall girl, glaring at them as if she wanted them dead.
The tallest kid laughed, spouting off some bullshit she didn't care to listen to.

"If I see you chasing my brother again I'll kill you. "

A shiver ran down their spines, somehow they knew, she wasn't joking.
Backing up, they ran back off into the street away from the two siblings.

"Toshi, Dad sent me out looking for you, you okay? "

He looks up at his sister and smiles, nods and grabs her hand as they walk back to the house.

"How badly is Pops panicking? "

She laughs, ruffling his hair
"Pops was about to call you in as a missing persons case, dad is rational and sent me"

Hitoshi sighed and shook his head, laughing at his dads antics.

After being in the children's home until Y/n was 14 and he was 13, their dads adopted them both since they were a pair, Hitoshi wouldn't have gone without Y/n and she wouldn't have gone without him.

As soon as they started school again, Hitoshi and Y/n were both singled out, one with a villainous quirk and one without one.

However the older of the two quickly shut everyone up since the time she beat the shit out of a guy who had shoved her down a set of stairs.

They arrived at the door of their parents apartment and she knocked on the door before entering.
"I found him! "

Their dads came barreling into the room, Pops was yelling about how worried he was, and everyone covered their ears.

A cat rubbed against her leg, kneeling down to pick him up and holding him like a baby.

"Pops it's okay, Toshi's okay and I'm okay as well, don't worry"

The blonde calms down and pulls his kids into a hug, pulling his reluctant husband into it as well.

Their little family was perfect in her opinion, her little brother, her dramatic pops and her soft ass father who tried to act like he wasnt.

"Come on 'Zashi, let's let the kids get dinner"
Pops sighed, kissing hitoshi in the head

"I'm so glad you're okay"

She smiled, looking at them fondly.

"Come on, let's get dinner"

Flick chilled on her shoulders as they ate, school, work, anything inbetween.

"Ya know. The UA entrance exams are coming up this year.. "

Curious glances were thrown her way by her parents, Hitoshi already knew she wanted to be a hero.
Her parents didn't know the strength she held, to be precise, they thought she was quirkless and nothing much else.

Not that they didnt love her! Her parents adored her, but assumed she would go into a civil servant job or customer service.

"I'm going to apply for the UA hero course with Hitoshi"

Her parents dropped their cutlery, and Flick abandoned ship, running off to the cat tree.

Pops nervously expressed his worries, she knew he didn't mean much by it.

Dad sat silently, she was worried about his reaction really, he worked at the damn school.

"I've been training since I was. God, able to walk! Since I was still at the Children's Home, since before Hitoshi showed up. He's seen the shit I can do, I swear that I'm not saying this for the sake of it, I honestly believe I could pass first on the exams"

It was deathly silent, and she looked down, tears welling in her eyes in fear her parents would forbid it.

"She's right. I've seen what she can do dad! She's saved me. So many times! If you don't believe her, then believe me! I swear on my life she's not lying! "

Y/n's head shot up, looking at Hitoshi and smiling, tears in her eyes now.
She grabbed his hand, waiting anxiously

Their eyes both shot up to their dad, who looked at her with fond eyes.
She nodded, her eyes guarded.

She got up, the men following her to their training room.
The house was full of future hero's and pro's, of course they had a training room.

Walking over to the heaviest weight in the room, her dad looks scheptical however his jaw practically drops as she picks up the entire thing with two fingers.
He activates his quirk, eyes glowing red.
Nothing changes.

She throws the weight to one side of the room and within seconds, catches it at the other side.

She twirls it as if it were a baton, and her senses kick in as she grabs another weight that someone threw without breaking a sweat.
She places it down, and gestures to her father to pick it up as if to test if she's cheating.

He walks over, and tries to pick it up with one hand, however fails.
Two hands, and he can just about deadlift it.

She walks back over, lifting the weight whilst he's still touching it.

"Wha... How..? "

She laughs as pops is shell shocked and Hitoshi laughs.

"Listen, I've seen Y/n blast away villains with one punch, if she couldn't lift that weight I'd be surprised"

Both parents heads turnt on a swivel to look at her looking sheepish.

"uh well.. The reporters blamed it on all might but I kinda destroyed a villian and an entire train car when I was like 13"

Hizashi passed out.
