Raven's point of view:
The burn of dark magic was a very welcoming feeling. It just makes sense that I am the daughter of the most powerful wizard in the world. But something in the very deep pit of my heart was screaming out to me. It was calling to me to stop and listen to reason. Only this voice wasn't mine...it was the voice of the one person that I could not for the life of me look at again. At least never look at them the same way...
The opening and closing of doors drew me out of my intense flurry of thoughts and I looked towards where the sounds were coming from. My father, the Dark Lord himself was finally back. "So, did you speak with Lucius father? I do hope you managed to make him come to his senses before he did something...worrying." My father looked at me with a small smile on his face and just nodded his head. He then came closer to me and whispered gently, "Lets just say, the entire Malfoy family and the extended family is under our control. The army of death-eaters is growing by the minute...and soon, the entire wizarding world will know your name!" Once he had finished speaking, my father simply stepped to the side and went to sit down on one of the more comfortable chairs in the next room.
Those words of encouragement made the burning intensify. It was like someone was pouring white hot lava down my throt and spine. All that was left to do now was bring Draco up from the basement and kill him in front of the death-eaters...
There it was again. That twinge in my heart. The sadness I felt when I saw Draco's body writhe in agony for the first time. I don't care for him. I want him dead after what he did to me. Don't I?
Before I could make that decision, I decided that it was time to go and visit my little captive. walking through the endless corridors of Malfoy Manor had already begun to get tiring for me, but I just had to remind myself that all of this effort would pay off in the end. I stop just before I get to the cell door of Dracos'...and I hear a small whimpering noise followed by slightly muffled words. I leaned closer to the door and strained to make them out. "Please let my Hermione come back...I love her and...please just let this misery end..." The broken sentences were enough to send me into a spiral of uneasiness. my eyes watered and my stomach flipped upside down. I leaned against the wall near the cell door and looked at the stone ground. Small droplets of sweat dropped down my face as my silent breath hung in the air. The muffled words had stopped and all that could be heard was Draco Malfoy whimpering to himself in the dark.
It stung. It hurt. I didn't feel any kind of pleasure from his suffering anymore and I hate it. I want him to suffer, he broke my heart, thinking he was doing the right thing. He said it was trying to save me, and was he?
As Raven stood, leaning against the wall, another pair of eyes was watching her from shadows. the eyes shifted from her to the cell door. They the stopped and stared directly at Raven...inching very closely to her...
