"I had all of you then most of you, some of you, then none of you.."

"S-Sabo..? Are you okay?! Get up! Hey!" Luffy breathed heavily, the air feeling hot.

Using Gear Fourth wasn't the brightest idea, he admitted.

He felt tired and weary just talking already. So far.. this obviously wasn't going well.

Everything was falling apart and nothing was going according to plan. This might be the first time Luffy even thinks twice about methods.

I mean, who would normally? It was just a waste of time. Why couldn't he just kick some ass without talking in one place?

It would be way more quicker to just rush in and finish the business, and the more quicker the mission is finished, the quicker he gets to eat delicious food from Sanji!--

He blinks hard, eyes widening as he clenched his teeth. Everything froze as a shiver went down his spine. Sanji..

He remembered the blonde cook always rambling on about how great and alluring women were, or him taking his golden lighter out of his pocket to smoke coolly on sunny days.

"Now, Luffy, you better save Nami-san and Robin-chan from those damn Marines, you hear me?" He said, gripping Luffy's shoulder. "We have to do everything in our power to save them. I just need to get Usopp and Chopper back from that prison cell. Now remember, I'm leaving you with a important job. Don't waste it..alright?"

That was the last sentence he heard from Sanji.

The last he heard from the real him he usually saw, at least that's how he phrased it. The last thing he heard from the man who cooked his favorite meals everyday for the entire crew, saved him (and the ladies, of course) at the last second, the man who gave everyone on the Thousand Sunny happiness with food and words was..gone.

All but a reckless, uncontrolled Sanji remained that day, giving cold glares at everyone while tears soaked through his eyes.

"GET AWAY! I SAID GET AWAY, DAMMIT!" He yelled desperately, his dark brown orbs glinting in the sorrowful yet powerful rainstorm.

"I don't want to hurt you, so get away! I'm just a..heartless man!" He growled, raising his hands in front of him, fingers aching and twitching.

Then he clasped his hands in a fist, more wet tears bursting from his eyes. 'I'm sorry, guys. It's over for me.' His last enduring thoughts burst in his head.

'I can't be saved from this dark future I've been deemed to go through.'

Sanji gave a last peer at his completely befuddled remaining crew mates, before giving a hopeless yell of distress promptly slipped into the deep ocean.
