Ryoma couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched as they walked through the city. The bustling marketplace was filled with people, and he couldn't identify who might be watching them. Still, he couldn't let his guard down.

Zephyr, on the other hand, seemed to be enjoying himself. He greeted passersby and made jokes with the vendors, completely at ease. Ryoma admired Zephyr's confidence and charisma, but he couldn't help but feel that the situation was too good to be true.

As they walked, Ryoma saw a shadowy figure lurking in the alley. He nudged Zephyr, pointing discreetly at the figure. Zephyr's eyes narrowed, and he nodded, indicating that he had seen it too.

"Stay close," Zephyr whispered, drawing his sword.

The figure emerged from the shadows, revealing herself to be a woman dressed in dark robes. Her face was hidden beneath a hood, but her eyes gleamed with malice.

"Zephyr," she hissed, drawing a sword from beneath her robes. "You should know better than to cross the Dark Council."

Zephyr didn't flinch. "I have no quarrel with the Dark Council," he said calmly. "I am merely passing through this city."

The woman snarled, her sword poised for attack. "Liar," she spat. "You betrayed us. And now you will pay the price."

With that, the woman lunged at Zephyr, her sword slicing through the air. Zephyr dodged her attack with ease, his sword moving in a blur of steel.

Ryoma and Aria watched in amazement as Zephyr engaged in a fierce battle with the woman. She was skilled, her movements fluid and graceful, but Zephyr was faster and more experienced. He dodged her attacks effortlessly, striking back with precise strikes that left the woman struggling to keep up.

Ryoma could see the intensity in Zephyr's eyes. This was more than just a simple skirmish - there was a history between Zephyr and the Dark Council, a history that Ryoma knew nothing about.

As the battle raged on, Ryoma could see the woman tiring. Her movements became slower and more labored, and Zephyr began to press his advantage. With a final strike, Zephyr disarmed the woman, leaving her weaponless and vulnerable.

Zephyr pointed his sword at the woman's throat, his eyes cold and unyielding. "Now," he said, "you will tell me why the Dark Council is after me."

The woman spat at his feet. "You'll never know," she said defiantly.

Zephyr's eyes narrowed. "Then I have no use for you," he said, sheathing his sword.

With that, Zephyr turned and walked away, leaving the woman lying on the ground. Ryoma and Aria followed, still in shock from the intensity of the battle.

As they were walking on the street, a man in the black robe appeared out of nowhere and pointed his dagger towards us and said. "You should have not came back here after destroying our bases ?"

Zephyr's eyes narrowed. "That's a serious accusation. What evidence do you have?"

The man smirked. "You think we don't know what you're up to? We have spies in your organization, Zephyr. We know everything."

Zephyr chuckled. "Do you now? And yet, here I am, walking freely in your city. If I was truly a threat, don't you think your guards would have arrested me by now?"

The man's expression darkened. "You may be powerful, Zephyr, but you're not invincible. One day, your luck will run out."

Zephyr turned his back on the man, motioning for Ryoma and Aria to follow him. "Let's go. We have work to do."

As they made their way through the city, Ryoma couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The man's words had unsettled him, and he couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.

Zephyr seemed to sense his unease. "Relax, my friend," he said with a grin. "We've faced worse than the Dark Council before."

Ryoma nodded, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. Something was brewing in the city, and he had a feeling that it was going to be a long night.

As they walked through the winding streets, they suddenly heard a commotion up ahead. Shouts and the clash of metal echoed through the night.

Zephyr drew his sword, motioning for Ryoma and Aria to stay back. "Stay here," he said, his eyes fixed on the fray up ahead. "I'll go check it out."

Ryoma and Aria watched as Zephyr sprinted towards the source of the commotion, his sword at the ready. As he drew closer, they could see a group of men in dark robes surrounding a lone figure.

Zephyr charged into the fray, his sword whistling through the air. The men scattered, their eyes fixed on the Blade of Destiny.

Ryoma and Aria joined Zephyr's side, their own weapons drawn. Together, the three of them stood against the Dark Council's minions, their determination unwavering.

The battle was fierce and brutal, with no clear victor in sight. But slowly, surely, Zephyr, Ryoma, and Aria gained ground, pushing back their enemies one by one.

In the end, it was Zephyr who delivered the final blow, his sword cleaving through the last of the Dark Council's minions. As the last man fell, Zephyr turned to Ryoma and Aria, a triumphant grin on his face.

"That's how it's done," he said, sheathing his sword. "Now, let's go find out what they were up to."

As they continued their walk, Ryoma couldn't help but wonder what Zephyr had done to anger the Dark Council. He resolved to find out more about Zephyr's past, no matter the cost. The Blade of Destiny was their only hope in defeating the Darkness, and Ryoma knew that he had to do everything in his power to protect it from going to the hands of evil.

And they followed the path which led them towards the dark forest.....
