So what was the reason?

Bible keeps on trying to dial Build's number once again but the older seem to not wanting to talk to him after their conversation through phone not long ago.

Bible couldn't help but to feel jittery. He didn't exactly know what was the reason behind Build's sudden words and he didn't know if he was really serious or what, but after trying numerous failed calls to the older, that's when Bible realized that Build wasn't kidding around.

He really wanna end everything between them. And Bible don't have any slightest idea as to why Build wanted to break up with him. He can't remember anything he did wrong. Or he can't just remember it? He's so lost.

Maybe it's because he was too busy the whole day and he didn't even exert effort to call the older that's why he's now sulking?

But nah...Build is not that petty. He won't just randomly ask him for break up just because he wasn't able to update him for a day. There was even a time when Bible have to take a break from his phone because he have to study for his exams and Build really didn't bother him at all but they were all good. So what could possibly be the reason for this right now? Why is Build suddenly asking for a break up?

No way...

Did he finally get tired of him? Was it because he's too clingy sometimes? Cause he loves to ask for cuddles all the damn time whenever they would have free time together? Was it because he always tell him to eat homemade foods and not those from the fast food chains?

Did Build really get tired of him already?

Bible messed his hair because of all the thoughts that's circulating inside his brain. This is not helping at all. He wanted to talk to Build but the latter seems like he doesn't have any intention of clearing what he just said a moment ago and let things end just like that.

But Bible won't let that happen. He won't let Build break up with him.

But what if he's really tired of me already?

Bible mumbled inside his head once again.

Then maybe...I'll try asking for his reasons first. And then after hearing it, and if he still really want to get away from me then... I don't have any choice but to let him go right? Because that's what he wants. And I don't wanna force him into a relationship that he doesn't want to be involved with anymore.

I know it would hurt me but... At least Build would finally be free. It's okay. I don't mind hurting at all, as long as Build is happy. That's all that matters. His happiness is my top priority.

He was busy contemplating with himself when his phone suddenly rang startling him a little.

Bible blows a loud breath after seeing his friend's name on the screen of his phone. He quickly pick it up before putting his phone against his ear and didn't utter a single word. He just let the other line talk first.

"Fucker! What happened? I just read your message! What the hell was that, Bible? Was that real?! I'm telling you! If this is a prank or whatsoever I'm gonna shave your hair off! I don't care if your fans would hunt me down—"

"I'm telling the truth, Po. He really want to break up with me. And I don't know why." Bible answered, not letting Apo say another thing.

The person from the other side of the line went silent for about a second or so that's why Bible let out a deep sigh. He don't wanna bother Apo. Cause he knew he's also a busy person but he don't have anyone to talk to regarding this matter. And also, Apo is one of Build's closest friend. That's why he wanted to talk to him for some advice. He just wished Apo could help him in this one.

He heard the older cleared his throat before speaking again. "W-woah...so it's really true? What the hell? Did you already asked him why?"

Bible blows a loud breath before shaking his head as if Apo can see him. "No...how can I talk to him when he's not even answering his phone." Bible said almost sounding like giving up.

He's already exhausted from work and then this happened. And here he thought things are finally starting to work in his favor. Guess he's wrong after all.

"So you're giving up? Just like that?"

Bible scoffed before pushing his tongue to the side of his cheek. "Giving up? Man, you don't have any idea what I am willing to sacrifice at this moment just so Build would answer my calls. But damn! He's obviously ignoring me!" Bible frustratedly mess his already messy hair before clutching his own head out of despair.

"I seriously don't know what to do anymore. Apo, help me please. I don't wanna lose him. I can't afford to lose him, Po. I don't even want to imagine waking up without him in my life. You get me?" Bible said, his voice sounded pleading. He don't care anymore even he would sound desperate.

Apo on the other line let out a shaky breath before trying to console his friend. Even tho he's closer to Build, he's also friends with Bible and he can't afford to see this man crumbling down. This is so hard for him too because they are both his friends. He wants to help Bible but at the same time, he also want to understand Build and know his reason.

"Fine. I'll try to reach out and talk to Build. For the meantime take a rest okay? Mile told me you were so busy earlier! You didn't even have a proper lunch. Do you really wanna get sick?"

"If that's what it takes for Build to take back what he said earlier then how I wish I would get sick so he would take care of me."

Apo rolled his eyes in annoyance. The younger really never failed to irritate the hell out of him.

"You really have to be thankful I'm not with you cause I would surely gonna smack your head! The hell are you saying?! Just rest okay? I'll take care of everything for you. Make sure to get enough sleep. I'll update you tomorrow."

Bible shook his head. Yeah right. As if I can sleep knowing Build wants to break up with me.

He wanted to voice it out but he's not that confident enough. He don't wanna anger Apo even more so he just chose to shut his mouth and agreed to the older's order.

"Good. Now I have to go. Bye, Bible. Take care, man."

Bible ended the call before dropping his body on the long couch of his living room.

His eyes quickly landed on the empty ceiling of his condo unit.

It's already passed midnight but he can't seem to fall asleep. Earlier before leaving work, he was so sleepy he even unconsciously fell asleep in the car on the way to his condo—his manager was the one who sent him back home— but now...he can't find any sleepiness in his whole being.

All he wanted right now is to talk to Build and to ask him why he say those words. He's hurting. So much. But he can't do anything. Guess he just have to wait for Apo's update tomorrow morning.

For now, he have to force himself to sleep and take a rest. He's exhausted. He can't risk his health. He'll just worry about everything tomorrow.

How he wish this is all just a dream and the next morning when he wakes up, he find Build laying next to him in bed with his bright smile that's is already more than enough for him to go on for the whole day.
