It was a quiet evening. Cadence just finished reading her favorite book, and she was getting ready for bed. "I think I'll go get some shut-eye", she said. As she went to her bedroom, she heard a knock on the door.
*Knocking in a thrice*
"Oh, who could that be?" She opened the door to find her best friend, Sean. "Hey, Cady. Why so shady?", Sean asked jokingly.
"Sean, I'm not shady. I'm tired." Cadence points to her clock, which reads 9:15 PM. "Please, I want to sleep." "But Cady", Sean said with a generous voice, "wouldn't you want to do something fun?"
Cadence paused for a moment. She didn't know what to think. She was tired, but Sean is her best friend.
"I'll let you know in the morning, OK?", She replied. "Sweet. Cya tomorrow!", Sean said ecstatically.
Cadence turned off her reading lamp, went to her bedroom, and got to sleep.
*7:00 AM*
Cadence yawned. "Good morning, me.", She said. She was about to get into the shower, when Sean texted.
(Cadence and Sean texts)
[Have ya made your decision, Cady?]
'
{Yeah, we can do something fun. I just need to get a shower first, OK?}
"
[Actually, I was thinking about using your shower for this.]
'
{Why}
"
[No reason. I'll be over in a bit.]
(End of texting session)
"Why would Sean need my shower?", Cadence asked herself. "Is Sean's shower broken? Probably."
