Part 1

***Ellery's POV***

I woke up 4am in the morning because of my brother, who's rushing to go outside looking nervous. I got up and followed him, I froze in my spot when I saw my mother who's holding a cake with a number 13 candle in it while my brother is holding a bouget of flowers in his left and in his right hand is his phone recording the moment.

"Happy Birthday our Ellery!!!" both of them said in unison. I smiled sweetly and covered my face from the camera to prevent them on seeing my teary eyes, I walked towards my mother who's smiling widely at me and extended her arms signaling me to blow the candles and I did. "Pasensya na if palpak ang surprise namin para sayo, Elle." my mother said while smiling sadly. "It's okay ma, your efforts is more than enough para sakin." I smiled sweetly. My brother gave me the bouget of flowers and greeted me a happy birthday as he ended the video. After that I took my phone to change my profile picture and put a caption that really proves that it's my birthday. I took a nice warm bath and then wore my school uniform, yes may klase ako ngayong birthday ko haha. 

As usual, I did the same things I usually do every week days. I'm arrived in my school early today kasi ako ang humahawak ng susi sa classroom namin. And when I was on my way to my classroom, my classmates saw me, wore their bags and greeted me a happy birthday as well. Nakakatuwa lang kasi hindi lang ako ang magdidiwang ng aking kaarawan because I have my classmate, Zico who has the same birthday as me. "Hi Zico! Happy birthday!" Sabay pag yakap ko sakanya. "Happy birthday rin pastor!!" pag bati niya sa'kin. Yes, they call me 'pastor' because of this one incident when we were doing our project para sa Filipino and kailangan kong mag basa ng bible verse at doon na nag simula ang lahat. Dumating si Erika at Razel, my best buddy's and also greeted Zico and I. Hindi nagtagal, mag sisimula na ang aming flag ceremony, ginagawa namin ito every morning bago mag simula ang klase namin. Nag titipon-tipon kaming lahat grade levels 7-12 sa open field para kantahin ang National Anthem ng Pilipinas.

Pagkatapos nilang lumabas, isinara ko na ang pintuan at saka ako tumingin sa aking left-side na kung saan ay nakikita ko siya. Habang tinititigan ko siya ay bigla siyang napatingin saakin at sabay pa kaming umiwas ng tingin. She's Quinn, the girl who changed me from who I am before she liked me since grade 6 but I liked her back ngayong grade 7 na kami, she has this beautiful dark eyes na kaya kong titigan araw-araw. She is really my type and I started to like her a lot hanggang sa nauwi sa pagmamahalan. "Ellery!! Ano ba?! Kanina pa kita tinat- ay" Nang nakabalik na ako sa aking sarili ay narinig kong sumisigaw saakin sila Erika at Razel na tila bang tinatawag ako dahil malapit nang mag simula ang aming ceremony. "A-ah, eto na." utal-utal kong sambit.

The ceremony started, I'm an STE student and napadpad ako na section 1 dahilan ng pagkakilala ko sa kanilang lahat. Allan, he is our class president. Amilia, she is our vice president at ako naman ay isang P.I.O. Kaming tatlo ang in charge pag dating sa field. We tend to shut our classmate's mouths and arrange their lines, occupied na ang dapat kong pwesto sa harapan kaya sa likod nalang muna ako pumwesto tutal kaharap ko naman si Amilia. Our ceremony is about to start and I can't stop myself from looking at my right-side kung saan siya naka linya kasabay ang kaniyang mga kaklase. I can't stop admiring her from a far pero bigla kong na-alala na wala na pala kami.
