Their love had only continued to deepen and fuel their individual quests. Hornet had successfully eradicated the infection from the neighbouring kingdom she had come to stop initially, thanks to the support and backup from Lace. They were known as the most powerful pair in the world of Hollow Knight: Silksong, taking down foes that no one was able to even come close to defeating.

Lace had different plans for the Silk Kingdom. She had her eyes set on a much larger goal, overthrowing the Pharloomian monarchy with kinder, more just ideals. With Hornet by her side, this dream didn't seem that far-fetched, especially with all the support they had garnered throughout the years.

Together, Hornet and Lace were unstoppable, not just because of their fighting skills but because they knew they had each other's backs no matter what. They had proven to the world that love had the power to conquer all, and that was something they would never forget.

Now that Lace had set her sights on a much larger goal, Hornet knew that they couldn't do it alone. They needed allies and supporters to make their vision a reality.

Their cause began to spread like wildfire. It wasn't long before people began to realize that Lace and Hornet's ideals were the answer to their suffering under a corrupt monarchy.

As their movement grew, so did their opposition. The king and queen of Pharloom felt threatened by the growing number of people who were rallying behind Lace and Hornet's cause. They launched a smear campaign against them, painting them as villains who wanted to overthrow the kingdom.

But Lace and Hornet didn't back down. They knew that it was just a matter of time before the people saw through the lies and propaganda.

One day, Lace received a message from an ally who had infiltrated the palace. The king and queen were planning to have them both executed at a public event to quell the rebellion.

Without hesitation, Lace and Hornet began to make their plans. They knew they couldn't let the executing happen, lest their movement would come crumbling down.

The day of the event came, and the palace was packed with people who had come to witness the execution. But as the executioner was about to swing his sword, Lace and Hornet sprang into action.

They fought their way through the crowd, their skills and teamwork making a mockery of the guards who tried to stop them.

In the end, they stood before the king and queen, swords at the ready. The monarchs were too frightened by their resolve, and they surrendered, abdicating their power to Lace and Hornet.

With the support of the people and the help of their allies, Lace and Hornet had done the impossible. They had taken down a corrupt monarchy and replaced it with a just, fair one. Pharloom was now a kingdom that belonged to the people, and Lace and Hornet were its new rulers.

They abolished laws that had oppressed the people for years and brought peace, prosperity, and hope to the kingdom.
