Chapter 1- Thanks Mikey

Ron:
Mom said earlier today that Aaron found a new group and they were supposed to arrive today. I think it's stupid we don't even know these people, I mean yes Aaron is careful with what group he chooses but still we don't need more people...does he even know if we can trust them? What if they only acted trusting so they could find a place and then destroy it! Ugh sometimes I question his actions but whatever I can't stop him. I was in my room chilling and reading when someone knocked on my door.

"Come in!" I said, my mother walked in, "The new group will be here in a couple minutes" Jessie said my mother, I just nodded and went back to reading, "You have to greet them Ron.." Jessie said in a sad tone, "Heh no I don't" I said to her, "They are just a random group with probably bad intentions" I spoke again, my mother looked at me sad and just closed my door.

I didn't have to greet them I mean like I said their just a random group that Aaron found, while I was reading I heard the group outside. Sam went running into my room, I was confused very confused "Sam what going on? Why are you so scared" I said to Sam, "Too many people.." Sam said I looked at him and nodded I got up and got out one of the comics me and him loved "How about we read our favorite comic?" I said smiling he smiled back and went running to hug me, I hugged back.

We read for a couple hours until dinner, when dinner rolled around mother knocked on the door again and told us it was dinner time. I just told her I would eat later but she insisted I eat now, I always hated after dinner time because thats when my father Pete would come home drunk and start abusing mom.

I would always have to step in front and it lasted about 2 or more hours until he was done and went to bed, so you can guess what happened today after dinner. "Pete stop!" Jessie said again trying to stop him from beating me up anymore badly, Pete continued and did it even more worse. "Mom go now with Sam!" I said to mom she nodded and went to Sam to go hide with him, it took an hour for him to stop but he did and went storming upstairs to bed. I just laid there crying...it hurt so bad, my mom came rushing down along with Sam.

Sam was crying and I felt bad I was supposed to be strong for him..but yet here I am crying in front of him. Sam hugged me along with mom, Sam cried in the crease of my neck and my mother hugged me in a motherly way. I took a while for Sam to fall asleep but he did, and mom got him upstairs to his room for bed. I told mom I would head to either Enid's or Mikey's house she nodded knowing those were the only two people that were always there for me and knew about what happened.

I got up and she helped me I hugged her one last time and told her good night, I made my way to Mikey's house and knocked on his door, he answered and looked at me. I was holding my stomach with my hand and he looked at me tears nearly forming in his eyes, he cared about me like a brother because we were just that close with each other, he helped me in and closed the door we went up to his room him helping me up the stairs, he opened his bedroom door and I went to his bed.

He closed the door and went over to sit next to me, "Do you want me to help bandage you up..?" Mikey said, I looked at him and nodded he got up and went to the bathroom and came back with some medical supplies, "Thanks a lot Mikey.." I said to him he looked up at me and nodded while bandaging me, "It's my specialty" Mikey said grinning, I laughed and he laughed too, he finished bandaging me up and set the medical supplies aside. "Want to stay the night..?" Mikey said looking at me, "Yeah that would be nice" I said smiling he smiled back at me, "Okay what would you like to do?" Mikey asked me I thought for a moment "How about we play some video games?" I said smiling he smiled back and nodded.

We got up and went to sit on the floor to play some video games, we played for a while I'd say 3 hours. He got up, "Wanna head to bed?" Mikey asked me, "I'd love too" I said to him. Yeah another thing we did was cuddle but not in a relationship way in a really close friend way, he helped me up and went to lay down I got on top of him and put my head on his chest. We both went to sleep peacefully just knowing that he was there made everything better.

Morning Time

Mikey:
I woke up to see Ron sleeping on my chest, I smiled, "Get up Ron" I said to him he groaned and got up rubbing his eyes, "Really is it already time..?" Ron asked and I nodded, he looked up at me. I have to admit I had some kind of feelings for him but I knew he only saw us as really good friends, and I knew that if I told him it would ruin our brotherly friendship.

I looked away quickly so I wouldn't blush or say anything stupid or confess my feelings right here and now, he looked at me confused "Do I look ugly or something?" Ron asked and I looked at him, "No no not at all!" I said in a worried tone, "You like me huh?" Ron said to me, I looked at him blankly and started blushing, "Even if I did I know you don't feel the same and besides I don't want to break our brotherly friendship.." I said to him, he looked at me for a moment, "I'll admit I have a bit of feelings for you too.." Ron said bluntly, I looked at him and hugged him lightly though so I would hit his bruises.

We got up and looked at each other... "Look...I-" I didn't finish before he kissed me, I got held back for a moment but kissed him back, we kissed for a little. He looked at me trying to figure out what he just did, I looked and felt so lost, "I'm so sorry" I said to him I should've pushed him away or something but I just let him do it.., "It's not your fault it's mine...besides I'll admit I liked it.." Ron said to me, I smiled at him and held his hand, he squeezed mine and hugged me tightly.

We stayed like this for a while and then he let go, "How about we make it official.." Ron said, I looked at him, "Are you sure..? What about the new boy?" I said to him he looked at me confused, "What do you mean new boy?" Ron asked me I looked at him and smiled "I forgot you weren't here when we greeted the new group" I said smiling he looked at me and smiled back, "Okay maybe I didn't but he probably isn't even that hot anyways" Ron said to me, "How about we go see and you can decide besides who knows you might just get feelings for him" I said to him and he looked at me sad, "What about what just happened though.." Ron asked me, I looked down "Look I want to be yours...I really really do..but what if you fall in love with this new boy..?" I said to him he looked at me and it was silent for a moment. "Then let's go see" Ron said to me.

I nodded we both got up and walked out of my room and down the stairs, we walked out of the front door. I knew where this new boys house was because when they got showed their houses and everything I saw him walk in one of the houses so that the only reason I knew.

We walked to this boy's house and went up to the porch, I knocked and to my luck the boy answered, "Can I help you?" He asked I looked at him and nodded, "We would like to introduce ourselves" I said to the boy and he just nodded, I looked at Ron for him to introduce himself first, "I-I'm Ron.." Ron said the boy nodded and looked at me, "I'm Mikey" I said smiling and he nodded, "I'm Carl" he said, me and Ron both nodded and we waved goodbye to him.

While we were walking away from the house we saw Enid walking to his house, we heard them greet each other but that's all, "Hi love" Enid said to Carl, "Hi baby" Carl said, thats all we heard when walking away me and Ron looked at each other and smiled, "Guess we can be together after all.." Ron said to me smiling and held my hand and I smiled back at him, "I guess we can be.." I said to him smiling.
