Your POV

(Read this as if YOU wrote this, not me.)

Nico and I had been friends for a long time. From the beginning, we both understood each other. Now, Nico is going on a quest. By. Himself. No one is suppose to go with him. Just. Him. And he is respecting that, and not allowing me to go with him. I just... I'm worried. When he left this morning, he gave me his skull ring that was from his Dad. I remember the first time I saw it.

Flashback

I ran up the hill and booked it until I made it past a tree with a few stunned people in front of what looked like a summer camp. I looked behind me down the hill. Hopefully the taxi guy got a way from... well, what ever was chasing me. I pulled out the card Grover had given me and turned around to see if I was at the right place. I turned around and slammed into a boy with dark brown/black hair, dark brown eyes, pale skin, and wearing almost all black. we both fell over and I fell on butt. I looked at the people around me, who were still as stunned as ever. The kid who I ran into stood up, brushed himself off, and held out his hand to help me up. If the people around me could have looked anymore stunned, they did. As the guy helped me up, I noticed two things. One, one girl in the group of stunned people stood out, and two, the guy helping me up was wearing this really cool skull ring. "I like your ring." I said. "It really suits you." He looked at me and smirked. One of the girls in the group of stunned people finally cleared her throat and the others snapped out of... whatever they were so stunned about. "Hi," She said. "I'm Thalia. Daughter of Zeus. Hunter of Artemis." I must of looked at her funny because she started explaining what Greek Mythology was and stuff like that. "And Artemis is..." She started. "The Goddess of the Hunt, and has sworn off men." I finished. "Uh..." Thalia said. "Yeah. You pretty much covered it." I had always had a question for Artemis, and before now, I had never had the chance to ask because, well, no one new she was real except for these people of course. And me. "So... if you've sworn of men, wouldn't you girls be a group of lesbian hunters?" I asked. A kid on her right, which I later found out was my brother, started cracking up. "You...you just got told!" He said laughing his head off the other kids kind-of laughed nervously. Then, I remember not feeling so good. All of a sudden I felt dizzy. All I remember after that was everything going black, but before going unconscious, feeling someone catch me and someone else say, "Percy! Stop laughing and help us Seaweed Brain!". I remember thinking before I went fully unconscious was, 'Seaweed Brain?'

Back in the present

That day was the start of my new life as a half-blood. The life, for some reason, I always wanted to live (I think I read to much PJO and HoO). So, Nico left and... I'm just here with myself. And Percy. I guess (don't tell him I said that). I guess I'll just wait until Nico gets back. I guess. I think I'm saying 'I guess' to much. I guess. I guess. I'll stop saying that now. I'm talking to myself. "Can you talk to yourself quieter (Y/N)!)" Percy said. "Shut up Percy!" I yelled. "Whatever Sea Girl." He said grinning. "Don't make me slap that gri..." I started. I-I remember saying that to Nico before he left.

Flashback

"Come back alive got it Shadow Boy?" I said. "Whatever, Sea Girl." He said grinning and using Annabeth's nickname for me. Like always. "Don't make me slap that grin off your face." I said back. "But really. Please try to come back alive." I said.

Back in the present

That's when I lost it. I broke down crying and Percy looked hurt. "I-I'm sorry." I walked over to him still crying. He cringed, like he expected me to slap him or hurt him, but I just sat next to him and hugged him. He hugged me and went kind-of stiff, but relaxed. Without meaning to, I started sing.

Close your eyes, I know what you see,

The darkness is high, and your in ten feet deep.

But we've survived more terrible monsters then sleep.

And you know I will be here to tell you to breath.

Tu sei mio soldatino.

La rationed per cui vivo.

Non ti scordar di me.

Io vegilerò su di te.

I paused and thought of how everyone says I have a good voice. I also thought about how Nico taught you the Italian to this song, and the song itself.

Tu sei il mio soldatino: You're my little soldier.

La ragione per cui vivo: The reason I live.

Non ti scordar di me: Don't forget me.

Io vegilerò su di te: I'm watching over you.

Ma Nico, mio caro: But Nico, my dear.

La ragione ho vissuto: The reason I lived.

Except for the third verse. For some reason he wouldn't sing me the third verse. Something about how it was too personal or something. He said he would teach you it someday. He told me his sister sang him this song before they were trapped at the Lotus Hotel and Casino for a couple YEARS. Thinking about this made me cry harder. Percy hugged me tighter and I started singing the second verse.

Stumbling lost; the last choice of all that you meet,

It's the cost of ruling those 'neath you feet.

Paths you've crossed, and trust you're trying to keep,

You're exhausted, listening for a voice that can't speak.

Ma nico, mio caro

Tu sei il mio soldatino.

La ragione ho vissuto.

Non ti scordar di me.

Io vegilerò su di te.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Aaaaaand . . . PART TWO COMING SOON! I just pulled a Rickhanger on you. Sooooo Sorry but I don't exactly know what to do for part two. Any way, I'll add part two later! Oh BTW, the Soldatino video on the first page isn't the full song. Look it up on YouTube if you wanna hear the full song. Bye! **Pinkie
(P.S. At one point when I was typing Soldatino, my cat started stepping all over the keypad and I just about had a spaz-attack because I didn't want him to erase the whole part one of my story! And BTW, did I spell 'spaz' right? (I actually don't know how to spell it!) But still comment yes or no!)
