Johnny "Big Boy" Black was playing a game vs. their arch rival Mesquite High. The score was 23-24 Mesquite High in the lead 1 minute and 30 seconds left in the game. Horn had the ball on the 2 yard line when suddenly their best Lineman, Johnny Black, fell down and wouldn't get back on his feet. All of his friends and family stood up in the stands and their face filled with shock as soon as he hit the floor. His coach said that it is not normal for a player to just fall on the floor and that something or someone must have hurt him. But when the refs checked their replay and noticed that Johnny nor the offensive line was on the screen. John Horn High school lost against Mesquite High 23-24. Two weeks later he went to the doctor and the doctor said that his leg is broken and he wouldn't be playing for more than 3 months and that his high school football career might be in risk.
