001: Wrongful punishment

      16 years ago, that was that day I was accused of Murdering Domino's rulers, King Oritel and Queen Marion.
 
    Deep in the prisons of the Frozen laybrinth, Astrid Nightingale was chained up from her wrists and ankles, and her feet and hands were covered to prevent her casting any spell the shadow fairy was all bloddied up, bruises and open wounds from harsh sword slashes and spells. Her hair was scattered all over where she was panting and crying. Her red gown was tattered, torn into pieces, and only her ripped skirt and upper parts of her body were covered. Her silver masqureade mask was shattered into pieces.

  Her wings were frozen as the freezing temperature from the prison killed off her wings and ability to fly. Astrid's red eyes were dull and lifeless, it is so cold in the laybrinth prison, almost as cold as the omega dimension. She felt her blood and bones slowly freezing and killing her.

  The tallest guard with short brown hair pointed his silver staff at Astrid and blasted a spell at her, and Astrid screamed in pain, tears came flowing down her face. Astrid coughed, and blood poured out of her mouth as large tears rolled down her cheeks and froze when it hit the ground.

  The other guard walked towards the critically injured fairy and harshly grabbed her obsidan locks. Making eye contact with her crimson orbs and smirking, then harshly kicked her stomach. Sending her flying till her chains were pulled at their limit and Astrid harshly landed on the icy rocky ground.

  "I'll ask you the question again. Why did you kill King Oritel and Queen Marion, and where are the two princes of Domino?"

   Astrid glared at the guards, "I didn't.... I didn't kill them, I would never would, and as for Daphnis and Blaze, I don't know where - "

  Astrid was cut off from a harsh slap, The shadow fairy glared at the person who slapped her, Tiago, one of the members of the company of light, glared back at Astrid and then unsheathed his sword.

  All of a suddden Hagen stormed in. His face was red with anger and also pointed the blade at the glaring fairy, "Lies! You threw your sword at Marion and Oritel, and then you stabbed Oritel with this sword!"

  The sword that Hagen was holding was the same sword that Astrid stabbed the last rulers of Domino.

  "You are a disgrace to this universe and to the fairies." Tiago spat out.

  Astrid used a small amount of her strength to grab the bloody blade, her blood mix with Oritel's blood dripping down from the sword and glared at Hagen and the guards behind him.

  Astrid also looked around and saw the rest of the members of the Company of Light and locked eyes with Faragonda, who held no emotion.

Astrid then looked down, and her body started to shake, "Ha... Haha..."

  Astrid then started to laugh like a maniac, her laugh echoed all around the cold lifeless prison, she lifted her head revealing large tears rolling down her face and her eyes lit up with realization, still clutching onto the bloody blade.

  Faragonda and Saladin looked at her in horror. The guards pointed their weapons at the laughing fairy. Hagen narrowed his eyes and gripped his sword tighter.

  "SO THAT'S HOW IT IS HUH?! ONE LOOK AT THE BLADE, AND YOU ATOMATICALLY THINK IT'S ME?!" Astrid yelled as she was laughing and crying.

   "All I ever wanted was just to prove that I could be a good person, a great fairy, despite what people tell my powers and what I am, but... i guess," Astrid then looked at them, like the monster they depicted her as, Hagen's eyes then widen slightly, it was like he was staring into a rabid beast, her pale complection did not help at all as she finally snapped.
