"Jennifer" My mum called, waking me up.

I could hear my Sister crying downstairs, it wasnt pleasnt. Anyway, why was she crying..?

I ran downstairs, looking for Emily.

"Emily, Hey! What's wrong? Shh..Shh... Don't cry!" I tried to soothe her, but she just sobbed harder.

"I-It's the D-day.." She cried.

"What day?" I asked, quietly. I sounded like a fool.

"T-The Hunger G-Games!" She yelled, gripping onto me and hugging me.

Shit, How could i forget? I'm such a dumbass!

"Woah, woah. Emily. Theres loads of people in this district i'm one hundred percent sure you wont be chosen." I reasurred her. To be honest, i was also trying to reassure myself.

"But i could be ch-" I cut her off.

"Hey, how about we go make you look pretty? For a treat. We all know we have to dress up nice for the hunger games!" I laughed.

She cheered up a little bit, and grinned running up to her room to get changed.

I was already in my white vans, Black jeans and a baby pink lace crop top.

"Mum could we please have some money? For the new outfits." I pleaded, smirking.

She laughed slightly and handed us a few hundred Dollars.

"Mum, My outfit it's perfect!" She squealed as we walked back inside. She had bought a floral baby blue dress, light brown flats, and a flower crown. She looked so cute. Saying that she was a 6 year old, she looks cute in almost anything. I chuckled to myself.

"How about your hair now?" I smiled at her. She jumped up and down indicating 'Yes!'

We both skipped upstairs and once in her room, i got a hair tie and put her hair into a high ponytail, then made it into a neat bun.

"Alright, Em. You're all ready!" I laughed.

She smiled in response.

"Okay, i'll be out for a while just before the drawing of names." I explained. She nodded her head. now, i was walking downstairs explaining to Mum.
