"It's Just a Puppet!" A romance story

"What was your life like before we became friends?"○ish

You woke up and noticed that you were lying in your bed. You had fallen asleep on the couch with Wally last night. How did you get to your bed? As you get up, you notice that you were in your pajamas. You had fallen asleep with your work clothes on last night. As you're trying to figure out how you got to bed and changed into your pajamas, you remember that Wally is the only other thing that can move in your house besides you. You go to look for Wally around the house and find him lying on the couch with only pants on. 'I guess he takes off his shirt to sleep.' You think to yourself. You go to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. You don't know if Wally can eat as he is a puppet, but just in case you make two meals. Wally wakes up as you're making breakfast and goes to put on his everyday clothes.

"Are you making me breakfast too?" He asks.

"Yeah, I didn't know if you could eat, so I made some for you." You reply.

"Yeah, I do eat!" He tells you.

You finished making breakfast and set up the table to eat. After eating, Wally suggests painting apples again to see if you guys have improved at it from last night. After a while, you guys got bored, so you decided to just talk.

"What was your life like before we became friends?" Wally asked you, wanting to know more about you.

"Well, I was normally out with a friend at the mall, working, or at my parents' house, that's about it." You answered his question. "What about you? Did you have a life before we met or became friends?" You asked back.

"I um.. I don't like to talk about it." He replied.

"Oh, I'm sorry if I made you sad or anything!" You say hoping you didn't ruin his day.

"It's fine. You were just asking, but you didn't know." He says, getting up from the carpet on your bedroom floor. You watch him as he leaves your bedroom. He changed to his pajamas, and so did you. You both went to bed Wally on the couch you in your room. You felt bad for having asked him and couldn't sleep, so you went to the living room where Wally was lying on the couch. You wanted to check if he was awake he wasn't you let him sleep and decided to apologize tomorrow.
