Hongjoong's povSeonghwa and I got dressed in pjs individually then met back up in his room.
Sleeping together tonight felt different- it was different. We weren't scared tweens staying in the same bed because of a scary movie, we're boyfriends spending the night together.
"Goodnight, Joong," Seonghwa said, his body turned to face me. I smiled at him and told him goodnight as I scooted closer.
The next morning, I had to get up earlier than Seonghwa to go to work. I got myself dressed in some jeans and a plain shirt before grabbing my wallet and keys. I slid my wallet and keys into my pockets before looking around the kitchen for a pen to write a note for Seonghwa.
'Hwa, I'm off to work. I'll be home around five pm. Be safe at your job,
Joong'I left the house and climbed into my car, then drove to the cafe I worked at. I made it earlier than I needed to be to help with opening up the shop.
"Joongie! Come help me with these boxes," a voice exclaimed from the back room at the sound of the door opening.
"Sangie, you know I have a key! Keep the door locked behind you until we open!" I exclaimed back, locking the door behind us until it would be time to open.
"Sorry, Joongie!" The man said as I took a box from his arms. We began to set up by baking some fresh sweets and starting a pot of regular coffee.
"How are Woo and San doing?" I asked, referring to his two boyfriends. Yeosang had a soft smile on his lips as he began responding.
"They're doing well; they're home now with our daughter, and they're supposed to send me pictures throughout their day," Yeosang said, smiling softly still as he spoke.
"You better let me see those," I jokingly threatened, poking towards him. Yeosang smiled and nodded, pulling his phone out and showing me the first few pictures he had with his daughter.
Yeosang had a daughter with his ex girlfriend, but now raised her with his boyfriends. His ex still co-parents with her new boyfriend, and the two year old couldn't be happier.
"Of course, Yeri's favorite uncle has to see the pictures," Yeosang said, raising his hands in mock defeat.
"I'm the cool uncle. She gets her sweets with me when Hwa isn't looking," I said, smiling widely as Yeosang's eyes widened.
"Is that why she comes home so energetic?! You sugar her up? Kim Hongjoong!"
"What?! No, just.. some gummies and juice boxes; the stuff you said she could have when she wanted it."
Yeosang tapped his foot against the ground impatiently.
"Fine, she also drinks some of my soda... but I make sure she doesn't drink a lot!"
"So now my babysitter needs his own babysitter, my word.." Yeosang grumbled, pulling a tray of cupcakes from the oven.
"Go open up while these cool, Joong," Yeosang said, shaking his head.
"At least she's happy and healthy, Sangie. I wouldn't do anything to put Yeri in harm's way," I said before going out to unlock the door.
When I twisted the key, a man came into the cafe just as quickly as I pulled open the door. He had his head down as he entered.
"Sir, we don't start serving for another ten minutes; are you okay with waiting?" I asked, turning towards him.
"That's fine, Hongjoong, I'll wait," he said, taking off his cap. I furrowed my brows seeing the man from the club, but went on my way to the counter to begin opening up.
