Narrator POV
A boy was just finishing decorating his room. He had just moved to metropolis. On his shoulder was his pet chameleon Grim
Boy: we'll Grim this is our new home, I guess
Grim: (blinks)
Boy: yeah
Suddenly his door open revealing two girls
Girl1/Girl2: HEY BASIL!
Basil turns around to see his twin older sisters
Basil: ..-_-.. Bianca, Braille not so loud please
Basil pets Grim on the head
Bianca: come on little bro, don't give us that face
Braille: we just wanted to check up on you
Basil: as you can see I'm ok
Bianca: yeah yeah, anyway mom and dad are out getting takeout
Basil: cool, I'll be in the backyard. I think Grim needs some fresh air
Braille: ok see ya Bas!
Basil hated that nickname. We now see basil siting on a chair under a tree. It was a nice day today. Maybe metropolis wouldn't be so bad.
As he got up to go back inside, he trips over. He gets up and looks behind him. He saw an object under the ground. Looked like a top corner of a book. He kneels down to grab it.
Suddenly he opens his eyes to which he looks around. Everything was black and dark. He turns around to see a book floating

The skulls eyes glow red
Book: YOU ARE WORTHY
The book opens, basil sees only blank pages. Suddenly a black liquid comes out of the pages, basil cover his eyes with his arms as he gets covered in black liquid
Basil opens his eyes again to see he's still in the sunny backyard. He looks to see the buried book was missing. He shakes his head and walks back inside
(TIME SKIP)
After dinner, basil goes to open his door. He starts to think about that weird vision he had. After changing into some PJs, he pulls down the blankets only to jump back in horror. The same book from his vision was right there
????: WE ARE CONNECTED
He looks around, who's voice was that?
????: OPEN ME
basil shakes his hand as he goes to open the book. He looks at the blank pages, what kind of book is this. Suddenly a black liquid starts covering his hand and travels to the rest of the body. He falls backwards as he transforms.
