Bad crush

He's just bad news

"But....come on you know I can barely pay for myself."
"I know,  you should have thought about that when you laughed at me for being pushed down stairs."

I made Jake buy me lunch for laughing at me and he pouted but he gave in. So now I have a turkey sandwich sitting in front of me. But I'm not really hungry. I stare across the court yard. At none other than the asshole himself. If it weren't for him and his obnoxiousness I would not be limping around here.

Okay. So ,maybe it wasn't his fault, but he played a really big role in this "accident". Its his fault for smashing through those hallway doors so obnoxiously. Like he has to make all his entrances grand. I roll my eyes.

"Whats your problem?" Jake ask somewhat amused.

"Its just that time of the month again." i say with a sigh. Then i realize what i just said.

I gasp.

"oh well um...." he stutters. He is definitely uncomfortable.

"I didn't.. I. Its not like that. I meant.... " My cheeks go bright pink i cant believe i just said that to him.

"I meant its that time of month when I am publicly humiliated and have a passionate hate for 1 person in particular. No need to be dirty." I say rolling my eyes. Even though i'm positive my face is still bright pink.

"And that person is...?"

"None other than Ashton Wright." I scowl at the sound of his names. He makes an "o" with his mouth and then smiles shaking his head. He looks down and starts playing with the sleeve of his scrubs.

"What about him?" Cally says as she approches us.

"Shes just having a moment." Jake says with a wink. I stink my tongue out at him and he does the same back. Ya were immature dont judge us.

"What?" I ask defensively. "He thinks he is all that and its just so stupid." If only you guys knew the whole story.

"Well in his defense, everyone basically lets him think that he is all that." He says

"Why are you defending him? What do you guys have some kind of bromance going on that i don't know about?" I say waggling my eyebrows.

" Um ya no. No need to get dirty." He says with a smirk, and Cally just starts laughing. I give them an annoyed look.

"Anyway, The people who dont think he is all that, Don't say it."

"Well someone should" I grumble. I glare his way. He turns and his eyes meet mine and I instantly rip my eyes from his and pretend to be looking around the cafeteria. Cally starts to tune us out as she glares at him also, except she doesn't look away when he sees her.

"Why do you hate him so much all of a sudden?" He asked watching my squirm under Ashton's gaze.

"Did you understand the homework for Ms. Sherman? It confuses me." I ask trying to change the subject.

"Stop changing the subject. And did you really just try to distract me with homework?" He asks amused.

"Well." I mumble with a shrug. He rolls his eyes.

"Well? Why do you hate him all of a sudden?"

"Just because. He's just bad news." I say simply. There is a really good reason, if only you knew. Him and his little friends are the reason for so much suffering, so much. I'm glad when he doesn't question me further.

My forth period is one of those classes that you just wish could be over as soon as possible. Its math. I am actually really good at math, but i hate it. The teach is always over excited about crap no one cares about, i hate just about every person in that class, except for Bianca and maybe Josh. Josh thinks he's a hot shot and all but he's not too obnoxious. I am not in the mood for either of them. They literally are like in love with each other but neither one knows, it gets annoying. But they would make a great couple Josh is tall and Bianca is rather short. They both have dark skin and im not going to lie josh is pretty attractive, and Bianca is beautiful. Perfect.

I walk in and of course today was one of the days we have to work in groups. Really? Groups. Why me? I just sit where my name is and sure enough Josh and Bianca right next to each other. Flirting it up.

I sit down and just look pissed off at everyone. One thing i am not good at is hiding my emotion. Josh gives a look and i mock his look.

"So.... Do you usually have that kind of trouble walking down the stairs?"
I glare at him, I remember seeing his face when I was getting up he was laughing his ass off. I scowl at him.
Bianca just laughs at him and pokes him.
"Don't be mean." She rolls her eyes. She pretends she thinks he is the most annoying person ever, but she knows he isn't.
"Did you just poke me?" He asks looking amused at her. Here they go again. I roll my eyes.

I literally just wanted to scream "Just get married already!!" But i know that would be a pretty bad idea in the middle of class.

Oh ya class. I pull out my notebook and pretend to be listening and i literally watch the clock for 20 minutes before she passes out papers for us to finish with our group. Me and Bianca try our best to explain it to josh, but even though he is smarter than most people in this class he was too busy flirting with Bianca to even know what lesson we were learning. Somehow we manage to finish before the bell rings, and when it does i am the first one out. I turn and walk quickly down the hall way to find Madi. My best friend. We have chorus together. Along with our group of best friends.

She is talking to Jake, Daniel, and my ex boyfriend, Caleb. Ugh. We were still "friends" and all, but he was just really annoying, and no one can help the awkwardness between us. All of them have the same class, and I cant help but feel Madi has one of the best 4th periods ever. I love Mrs. Licaster, I have her for my first period, but she has like the best group of people too. Aside from Daniel. I Walk up to them and nod at Caleb and he smiles at me. I mentally roll my eyes. Madi tells me all the time that he still likes me, and it is kinda obvious. I give Jake some sorta high five hug kinda thing, I dont even know.

"I was just telling them about your falling down the stairs incident." I blush deeply, but them get kinda mad.

"It was his fault." I whined pointing at Daniel.

"Aww dont be like that" He says putting his arm around me. I scowl at him.

"Its true. You ran right into me. " Ok so i dont hate Daniel, but he really is annoying, but he is really funny at times. I dont know what to think of him.

"Its because i'm black isn't it?" This is his defense for everything. I just laugh and push him away. Caleb is giving Daniel a really somewhat nasty look. I dont even know with him.

The warning bell sounds.

"Oh shit." We say in unison. Which causes us to laugh before we scurry off. Luckily our class is not far from Mrs. Lancaster's.

I see Addie(above) getting her folder and I run, more like limp, to her. I squeal her name. I know you must be thinking that we are such little girls and seem way overly excited to see each other, but this not normally what we do. Addie was in California most of the summer and just got back 1 weeks into school. Her mom lives in California and she never gets to see her, and she was supposed to come back before school, but her mom couldn't bare for her and her little brother to leave yet. I wish my mom was like that.
I give her a really big hug and she looks down at my leg as I wobble around.
"What happened to you?" She ask half concerned, half amused.
I sigh and start telling the long story that I know will probably be everywhere tomorrow.
Oh well maybe some people might notice my existence now, just not the way I was expecting.....
