Chapter 4. Lacrosse Practice

{Isaac's POV}

I thought to myself "we are already 10 minutes into lacrosse practice" & then shook my head. Maybe she's not coming she probably found something cooler to do as I said heading over to Scott.

I asked if Kira was here and he said
"No but I just texted her and she said she'll be here any minute chill dude".

And I hope that was true because all I wanted to do was see Malia.

Coach blew his whistle like crazy and said "Lahey,McCall"you'll be on defense". We nodded and went over to our positions and luckily were closets to the bleachers.Scott walked over to me and shifted his gaze while pointing his finger to Kira and Malia. I couldn't help but smile and wave to Malia and she did the same back.

{Malia's POV}
"Kira nudges me and smirks"

I soonly ask "hey what was that for?"

Kira says" like you didn't already
know,your so gaga over Isaac."

I try to deny but I can't even not convince myself that I don't like him. My eyes are plastered on him & I say " I guess I do like Isaac, no other boy on the field mattered except for Isaac". Right after I finish saying that Isaac looks up like he just heard exactly what I said which is impossible because there's no way he could hear that.

Unless.. I nudge Kira and ask " hey do you think Isaac could be supernatural maybe a werewolf?"

Kira give me her Kira look and spits back " Scott would have told me &I anyway your just paranoid". I nodded and quickly agreed.

As Lax practice is coming to an end, Scott is on the bench so Kira and I walk over and she gives Scott a kiss.And spurts out very awkwardly "let's all go out to eat and let's invite Isaac". I smirk and agree.

As Isaac approaches me he gives me a hug and I amediatily smile. I then suggest that him I Scott & Kira should all get something to eat. I suddenly am distracted on how him of all people could be so perfect. " He says that sound like fun". I gladly smile and we all get into Kira's car.

Kira's takes the drivers seat Scott sits in the passagners & that leaves Isaac and I in the back seat with 3 seats. So we could either sit next to each other or not. I'm hoping he will sit next to me i think in my head as he gets in the car he suddnely sits one seat over from me I frown when he buckles. "Man I really thought he was gonna sit next to me, not that it was really a big deal I reminded myself."

{Isaac's POV}

"Stupid is all I can think to myself as I'm sitting one seat over from Malia" I heard her heartbeat rise when I got in the car but slowed down when I sat one seat away from her. I just feel like I'm being to clingy. I said to myself a girl like her I don't want to take any chances of her losing interest... We pull up to a place called "Freddy's burger joint" and I suddenly un fasten my seat belt open the door while Scott,Kira,and Malia are all staring at me as I walk over to the other side of the car & grab Malia's door and open it for her a huge smile comes on her face as she exits the car latching my arm.I say in my head "score".
