Aria's POV: It all started when on my first day woking at starbucks. Where I worked as a cashier. I was only sixteen at the time and simply trying to make gas money for the old jeep my grandfather had worked so hard for years on and given me in a so called "Will to the grandchildren" he had written up on a piece of paper with my dad when he fell ill. Since none of us could yet legally recive things like money. To this day I still dont know why he gave me and only me the jeep, or why I so called deserved it.
"Hey can I have one grande strawberry frappechino and six cake pops."
"Six? But sir thats all we have." I looked at the guy. He wasnt really a sir, he looked more like a 12 year old boy. Floppy curly messy blonde hair, blue eyes, braces, long sleve black hoodie, a baseball cap jeans and some beaten up shoes. I shouldnt really be judging him. I was a freaking flat chested, greasy haired, glasses, braces and yellow nailpolish on my fingers kinda girl.
"I eat a lot."
"Dont worry, theres always more out back. Name for your order sir?"
"Niall."
"Spelled Niall?"
"Got it! I once got called Nate."
Niall started coming in more and more over the next several weeks. Eventually one day he came in with a whole diffret look. He still had his braces but his exterior was all diffrent. His hair wad shorter and straiter his clothes more clean cut. The shop was dead so we basically got talking. He informed me how his new look was due to XFactor. I informed him that I never really got the chance to check out the live versions of the show due to school work. I was taking extra classes trying to get more collage credits so I could enter collage as a junior for my major as a teacher, yeah a little wierd. I like school infact I lived for it but at the same time I just wanted to get it over with. Id rather learn about the things I wanna learn about, things Ill actually use in life.
Niall's POV: I know Aria has no doubt already told you her part of the story how I changed and how nerdy she was. Well one day after the Xfactor tour, I walked into that starbucks getting coffee and looking forward to our little almost daily chats because when I usally came in the shop was dead. I walked to the counter looking for Aria. I was never one to read name tags so I quickly asked "Hey does Aria still work here?".
"Your looking at her." She flashed her name tag. I tryed taking it in. What happened to the greasy hair and glasses? Her braces where still on and she was still had a rather boyish figure underneath that shirt she had to where but it didnt seem like her.
"What happed to the glasses and your hair?"
"Well while you where gone, I got this amazing knew shampoo so that took care of the gross greasy kinda frizzy hair issue and I had a eye appoitment turns out I dont need glasses any more."
I looked at her. She changed so much over such a short period of time. I changed over night I knew that was gonna happen but I expected to see the same Aria when I got back Aria 1.0, this was like Aria, 2.0.
"Hey I get off my shift soon, we could catch up over some nandos." I have bumped into Aria at Nandos twice. Both times we ate toghther. On more then one ocasion we wanted to exchange nummbers but that didnt exaxtly happen.
"Yeah sure that sounds cool." She quickly changed out of her work clothes into a pair of jeans, scraf, top, boots and a leather jacket for the cold winter air. She looked put toghter and nice. But I liked it, she wasnt a girl I couldnt talk to, she was a friend. To bad at that time I had yet to relize the hotties get hotter and the nerds become drop dead sexy.
