chapter 3 Doors of ruins

... "You ready." I said. She then said "let's do this." We started to walk down the stairs while walking down I was looking at some of the doors but still they didn't have any floor numbers we must have been 0 or something. In my head I was thinking are these doors unlocked so I opened one of the doors and it was a brick wall.

We then continued walking down until we saw a door that said "control room." I opened the door and saw a control bord. "Hmmm let's look around." Shine said. While I was looking around there wasn't much so I went up to the control bord and looked at it.

It didn't seem the power was on. So I pushed one of the buttons and everything lit up. As it lit up I saw a glass dome it had a circle in it. I was guessing it was the core.

I then heard a noise of breaking glass I then saw something in the shadows "let's go." "Why?" She said. "There's something there, watching." We then walked back up the stairs but while walking there was this light coming out of the door I opened. I went up to the door and through the door I saw grass and trees.

"What is this place?" I said. We walked through the door and there was so many trees we walked around and saw ancient ruins we went into one there wasn't much but it looked cool.

"What's that?" Shine said. I looked we're she was looking it was a Rabbit. The rabbit looked at me and then started running away. "Quickly let's go after it." Shine said.

We started running after the rabbit until it ran into another ancient ruin. I then saw the rabbit and I said "hold on wait." The rabbit stopped and turned around. "Wait you can talk." The rabbit said.

I then said "yes uhh why we're you running." "I thought you we're wild animals." The rabbit said. Shine then said "we're not wild, what's your name?" The rabbit Replied "my name is stone."

I then said "what is this place." "This place is called doors of ruins. When you go through a door you end up in a magical place. Like this one." I looked at my watch it was 8Pm "crap I have to get home and check on shadow." Shine then said "well it was nice knowing you stone see you again soon."

We then went through the door we came from and closed it. "Hold on if it had a brick wall does that mean the core made the wall go away?" I said. We walked back down to the core it was still on. We turned off the core and walked back to the door. It had a brick wall again. We walked back to the basement door and opened it.

We went back into the elevator. We went out the window I then said "I'll see you here in the morning." Shine then said "yep night." I then said night and walked back home.

I opened the door but it seemed shadow wasn't home he must still be at work. I walked up stairs to have a shower. After a few minutes I got out and hopped into bed and fell asleep.

I then heard a loud "BEEP BEEP!" from my alarm clock I didn't really want to get up so i stayed in my bed while listening to the rain hitting my roof. after some time of listening to some rain I got up and went down stairs. I had some breakfast I then sat down on the couch and turned on the tv.

Tv News: The place we all know called the laboratory has shut down but that's not all some animals have been hearing strange noises around the area and seen two animals breaking and entering, there has been a investigation. We will give you more information on what is happening at the laboratory. Now bac-

"I need to go check it out." I said I turned off the news and turned my gem into a umbrella and went outside. But then my phone started to vibration Shadow was calling me.

I answered the phone "hey Snowy I heard on the news that there's been a investigation at the building. I'm heading there to go check it out." He said. I then said "ok I'll see you there bye love you." I then hanged up the phone and started running. After some time of running I made it to the place.

There we're so many cop cars and animals watching what's going on. I then saw shine I ran up to her and said "hey you saw this on the news too." "Yeah, we need to go back in there and see what those noises are." I then replied "ok so how are we going to get in with out being seen." Shine then said "through the back window." I then said ok and we walked away so we don't get seen walking to the back.

We then ran to the back of the building and went through the window. We started walking to the elevator but I then heard footsteps. I stepped back and heard one of cops talking "so who do you think was here?" I didn't know what to do to make them go the other way until I saw a small rock. I grabbed it and threw it.

It made a loud noise the two cops ran to see what the noise was and we ran to the elevator. We got in and pressed the button we then got out of the elevator and opened the door. We started to walk down the stairs to the core. "Let's turn it on and find out what's making that noise." Shine said. I then pushed the button and it turned on. Ok let's go.

We walked to the first door up the stairs And opened it. It looked like it was raining and lots of trees I was guessing it was a rain forest.

We walked in and started looking around shine then said "so what should we be looking for?" I replied "don't know, look for something that might have to do with those noises." I then turned back and saw the door moving.

The door then shut with a loud noise. "What was that!?" Shine yelled. I then ran to the door "it won't open I think it's locked!" I said. Shine then ran up to the door and tried opening it until we stopped trying "so this means where stuck here?" Shine said. "Don't know." I replied.
