The Begining

*A bus is driving and a child is exited in the bus* "This is great!" Said Kai "nothing better than riding to get my first pokemon!" He said full of joy. "First pokemon huh?" Said a young boy. "Yeah I'm so excited!" Kai said while turning around "*GASP* YOUR CHAPIAN ASH?!" Kai said while being excited, "well yes! I guess we're both going to galar," Ash said while smiling. "That's great! I'm so happy that we're both going!" Kai said while smiling back. "But your going for a good cause. Your going to get your first partner pokemon!" Ash says while Pikachu hoped on his shoulder. "Yeah your right! And me and my partner is going to get stronger!" Kai says full of determination. "I have a lot of memories here with one of my friends, he's on a journey just like me." Ash said.

"Oh? That's nice!" Kai said. "What do you say pal, wanna go with me and Pikachu on a journey?" Ash said. "SURE!" Kai said excited. But Kai was also thinking ("what if I'm boring to him..? I'm not going to think about this right now") "looks like we're here , by the way what's your name?" Ash said. "Kai, The name is Kai" Kai said in a calm way. "Nice to meet you Kai" Said Ash. While everyone was getting of the bus Ash got pushed by someone. "SHOOT! I'm so sorry." Said a familiar voice. "It's really alright" Ash said while looking at the person. "Wait Ash? " the boy said. "Hop?!" Ash said surprised " hey Ash! How's it going being champ and everything?" Hop said. "It's going great! I came to galar because I thought I would go see leon!" Ash said. "Cool!, but I have a question..." Hop said. "What's up?" Ash said confused. "Can we have a battle? I have been getting stronger!" Said Hop "sure! Make sure you watch this Kai." Said Ash while Kai nodded.

Location: outside at a Pokémon stadium.

"I hope your ready" Hop said while holding his pokeball "I'm always ready for a battle!" Said Ash while Kai is sitting down. "Hey Kai can you ref this?" Said Hop while looking at Kai. "U-Uhm sure?, This battle is only using 1 pokemon, when your pokemon faints the battle is over, please send our your Pokémon" Said Kai. "RILLABOOM GO" Said Hop throwing his pokeball. "Pikachu I choose you!" "PIKAAAA" Ash said while Pikachu hoped of Ash shoulder. "Let the battle begin!!" Kai said. "Rillaboom use drum beating!!" Said Hop while Rillaboom used it. "PIKACHU USE THUNDERBOLT!!" Said Ash while Pikachu one shot rillaboom."WAH-!?" Said Hop, "Rillaboom is unable to battle, Ash is the winner, Kai said. "I- That's it?" Said Ash. "I thought I was getting stronger...wait KAI Let me battle you!!" Said Hop. Kai jumped up, " I c- can't, I don't have a Pokémon..." Said Kai in a sad way, "then let's get you one! I think it's time to get a starter" Said Ash.

Location: Chloe's house

Ash knocked on the door. "Hello! Anyone home!?" The door opened "good to see you Ash!" Says Leon. "LEON?, what are you doing here?!" Said Ash "I just came to breed my Cinderace!" Says Leon. "I'm here for a starter..." Said Kai "well take this then!" Leon gave Kai a Pokeball. "What's this?" Said Kai being confused. "Open it and see!" Said Leon full of joy. Kai opened the pokeball and he saw...A SHINY SCORBUNNY!? "Is this little guy for me..?" Said Kai holding his excitement in. "Yeah! I didn't know it was a shiny though, he's a lucky one! Take care of him for me" Said Leon "OF COURSE!!" Said Kai. "Next time I see you hopefully we can have a fruitful battle!" Said Leon while he did his signature pose and walked away. Kai couldn't stop looking at his scorbunny, And it was a shiny so it was even better! Although he had no experience with it he still wanted them to be the best of friends. "Nice to meet you scorbunny!" Scorbunny jumped on his shoulder "SCOREEE!" scorbunny said happily "Nice Kai! Not only did you get a Pokémon it's a shiny!" Said Ash. "Yeah that's amazing! Now that I see it we have to battle!!" Says Hop.

"That's true but try and go hard on me, I wanna see scorbunnys full power!" Said Kai "your on!" Said Hop, a few minutes later "NOW USE DRUM BEATING" "DODGE AND USE DUBBLE KICK", Kai and Hop we're battling all day until..."NOW USE EMBER!" screamed Kai. Scorbunny and Kai beat hops Rillaboom. They had the type advantage but still, it was nice to see Kai have his first win! "Congrats Kai!" Said Ash. "Thanks, and thank you too Hop!," Said Kai "No problem! But I have to go now my mom wants me home bye guy's" and they all said bye.

Now that Kai had a Pokémon what other adventures will him and Ash have? The journey continues....
