A real gentleman

As I entered my Chemistry class, I searched for a seat in the back and thanked the gods, walking down an aisle to an empty seat. I sat down and could feel my anger fading away, leaving me feel tired and embarassed. All of a sudden, the fact of what I had just done hit me, and for the third fricking time today, I blushed. Jesus my face needs to stop doing this. I covered my face, trying to hide myself from the world.

"Hey Lisa, that was badass." I heard the surprisingly familiar voice of Hunter. I looked up and turned to him and calmly said,

"Thanks.

"But in all honesty, thanks. She's been bugging me for something now, shes almost past creepy stalker." He said with a small chuckle, which sent shivers up my spine. What the french toast? Ugh, I'm getting girly. As I moved a stray strand of hair from my face, I said,

"No problem. This may sound wierd, but have you two ever dated?" I didn't know why I asked, but as soon as I thought of the possibility I felt a strange mix of both anger and disappointment. Why, the world may never know. I heard him chuckl=e again, then said,

"Barely. We had a thing last year, it wasn't even a thing, just a stupid night on my part. We hooked up at one of Kevins parties and now she thinkgs we are like in love." He said. And there's the disappointment.

"Oh. Why don't you just tell her you don't like her?" I asked, trying to clear my mind of unwanted feelings.

"Do you really think that bitch will take no for an answer?" he asked as an explanation. I just shook my head.

"I guess not." I said with a smile.

"Are you two done?" the teacher, Ms. Sampeer loudly asked from the tront of the room. Being a goody two shoes, I immediately shut my mouth and my eyes got wide.

"I guess we are now since you're here." I heard Hunter say.

"Do you want me to write you u again today Hunter?" she asked while getting a pink slip from one of her drawers.

"No, I don't feel like hanging out here tonight with you." He replied.

"Then be quiet. And as for you Lisa, since it's your first day I'll let you go but if I were you, tomorrow I'd sit next to someone else, Hunter isn't exactly the best student." She said to me. Well, rude bitch.

"Love you too." Hunter said, snapping his fingers at her. I couldn't hold in my laughter in any longer and a few chuckles came out before I could stop them. This may very well be my new favorite class.

After the last few hours, I happily walked to my pride and joy. As I threw my stuff into the back, I tried to turn my car on. Tried being the word. After trying for probably 5 times, I got out and frustratedly kicked my tire.

"Hey Lisa, what's wrong?" I heard Hunter ask from a little ways away. I quickly looked at him, my eyes growing wide in surprise. How the hell does he always seem to come out of no where? But that wasn't what I need to think about. He's a guy, he may know something to help my car.

"Hunter! My car won;t start." I said, tilting my head up to look at him. I just now noticed he was a few inches taller than me.

"Let me see." He said as he looked at my engine. After a couple seconds he laughed and said,

"Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. I know absolutely nothing about cars, why don't I just give you a lift and maybe your parents can come back and get it later?" he asked. I nodded and said,

"Yeah, sure. Thanks." I then grabbed my stuff and followed him to his car. When I actually saw his car, I couldn't help but gasp. He drives that?! Its gorgeous. He turned to me and asked with a smirk,

"Like what you see?". I blushed (im turning into a damn tomatoe these days...) as I nodded. Then he surprised me with opening my door for me. Who knew a badass looking guy could be a gentleman?

"Thank you." I said quietly as I got into the car. Before he closed the door behind me I heard him say no problem, and then he into the car himself, turning it on. As soon as it purred to live the ac turned on and the song I'm Not Okay (I Promise) came on. I had to mentally hold myself from screaming and fan girling on the top of my lungs and breaking the poor guys ear drums. To my sadness, he turned it down so I could barely hear it. I just gave him a huge smile.

"You listen to MCR?" I asked, turning up the music a little. I couldn't not listen to them if they were on the radio. Hunter nodded then added,

"I do. And don't tell anyone, but I kinda have a man crush on Gerard Way and Frank Iero." with a laugh.

I laughed and then said,

"I like Mikey, he's too cute.". I then turned to look out the window, smiling and mentally screaming the lyrics in my head.

"So um, where do you live?" Hunter asked. I had forgotten he didn't know.

"Um, do you know that old victorian house?" I asked, praying that there weren't many more as I truely didn't know my new address yet.

"Yeah I do, you live there?"

"Yeah, it's a really nice house." I said, looking at him.

"I know, before you guys moved in I guess me and the boys would sneak in through an open window and just hang there, it's a really cool house, but my favorite place is the rose garden in the back." he said.

"Really? Mine too! It's just so beautiful, but that does remind me. Does this place have a lot of wolves?" I asked.

"Wolves? Not that I know of." He said nervously, and then quickly added, "But you don't have to worry about them, wolves are very understanding. Why do you ask?"

"Yesturday I went to the garden and then I saw this huge black wolf by the river, and from the size of him I'm guessing it was a male. But I guess you're right about them being understand, he never once tried to come after me." I said, looking into Hunters eyes. He smiled and replied,

"Yeah I've seen that wolf before. Rumor has it he would let you pet him, Seth's done it a few times and says the wolf has the softest fur. If you ever see him again, you should try it." I just laughed.

"If I ever get the nerve to, I'll try." I then looked up and noticed we'd gotten home.

"Thanks again Hunter, I probably would of been stuck at the school if it weren't for you." I said.

"It was my pleasure, I couldn't just leave ou." As he said those words I felt strangely overwhelmingly happy. I smiled and he got out of the car, opening my door for me. I'd never had a guy do that for me, so of course my damn face had to blush. Maybe my time of the month is gonna come early, my emotions have been everywhere today.

"Thanks for that as well, you're a real gentleman." I whispered, my breath being taken away by how close we were. He didn't seem to think about it though.

"No problem, I'll see you tomorrow, you can sit with us at lunch again." He said, leaning against his car.

"Id like that, see you tomorrow." I said before waving and going into my house. As I closed the door, a huge ass grin came onto my face and then quickly left. Why was I feeling so unbalanced today? I quickly climbed the stairs and dropped my bag off in my room, then skipped down the stairs to the kitchen. I opened the freezer door and thanked the gods for Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream.
