chapter 1

it was a cold december morning as rays alarm rang

RAYS POV:

"it's the first day at my new school, hopefully it doesn't turn out too bad" I thought as she slowly got up. I decided to wear green cargo pants with an oversized brown beige sweater and jewlery. I did my usual makeup and looked at myself in the mirror, "I look pretty" I thought as i looked at myself. I got my messengerbag where i had put the things i need in the previous day, i also put cute little pins on.

I then walked into the kitchen, my mother wasn't there, she probably went to work already. My father wasn't around much, since he had moved away to asia, i din't really mind though, because he still came during the holidays. As i ate my breakfast i started thinking about what my new school was going to be like "will i find friends? will they be nice? hopefully i don't have a seating neighbor who wants to talk all class" and other toughts like that came to mind.

I decided it was time to leave so i put on my coffe beige striped cat hat and headphones, and left to go to school. My new school wasn't very far away, so i got there in about 10 minutes.

When i finally got there, i looked around for the office, i didnt find it though. A gorgeous person with short blue dyed hair, black cargo pants with chans and an oversized t-shirt came up to me and told me "hey! are you new around here? you seem to be looking for the office, let me show you the way!" they said in a nice and caring tone. I thanked thanked them "thank you so much! you're a life saver!" i said, in an thankful tone as i clapped my hands in exitment. They took me to the office and we got my schedule for the year.

"by the way, i never got your name, I'm sam" they asked me "I'm ray, it's nice to meet you sam!" i answered sam. Sam then asked me if they could see my schedule i gave it to her. "ohhh~ we have the same classes, guess you aren't getting rid of me~" they stated. I giggeld a bit after they said that, and we went to our first class of the day. After i introduced myself to the class, i was told to go sit down next to SAM! I was super happy to be sitting next to them, since they were nice and seemed like a good person in general. After the math class (their first class) was over, we had break, and sam took me with them to meet their friends mika, alex, avery and sindy. All of them were very welcoming, and i was happy to be there, though i mostly talked to sam at the begining because i was too scared to talk to them, but i quickly warmed up to them, and they began to ask me a few questions.

"Where did you live before you moved here?" sindy questioned,
I lived in a small town in czech republic called nejdek" i replied to her. Then they asked me to say something in czech so i said "ahoj, já jsem ray, mám ráda hudbu od mother mother a cavetown jsou moje oblíbené, a taky mám hrozně ráda sam!" i said. they looked at me a bit confused since they didn'T understand a word, especially sam, sínce i said her name, but we laughed it off. The rest of the day was really fun, and after school sam gave me their number and instagram. I was so happy I'm not sure why, but getting her number made me happier than anything ever before.

After that i had to leave, but as soon as i got home i texted sam "hey sam! can we have a sleepover this weekend?" i asked, i know its a bit early to ask them that, i mean i just met them, but for some reason, i trusted them with all my heart. After a few minutes they replied "sure! I'd love to!"

SAMS POV:

today was a great day, we got a new student, and they have all the same classes as me, they look really cool, and after school i gave them my number, i am not sure why, but i was as happy as wasn't since what happened with millie. I was really happy to have befriended a so nice person, i think you've already guessed who it is, but just in case its ray. They're from czechia and when they said something in czech they mentioned my name, though I'm not sure what they said, but i have a feeling it was something positive. After school i was on my way to volleyball practice as i recived a text from ray "hay sam! can we have a sleepover this weekend?" OMGG a sleepover, with ray? OF COURSE I WANT TO! tho it might come off as wierd íf i said that since we only met today so i said "sure! I'd love to!" after that i was exicted to have a sleepover with them, but i just got to the gym so i have to stop thinking about it to concentrate better. Practice was pretty fun but i couldn't stop thinking about ray, they're just so gorgeous and nice, their style is also so adorable! But Jess noticed i wasn't very concentrated, so of course she asked me about it, she's the person of the team who always has some gossip to share, and since i didn't want everyone to find out, i told her to stop annoying me. After practice i went home and took a shower, after i had showered, i texted with ray for a bit before starting a call with her, soon after we fell asleep on the phone together
