"Is it a date?"

"No"

"But you're acting like someone just asked you out on a date", muttered Renjun with a slight smirk on his face.

"It's just a party, but I haven't been to one in decades!...so what should i wear?" whined Chenle clearly bugging the older.

"Okay Okay let me help you so you can look hot for your man"

"He's not my man" huffed Chenle with a hint of annoyance In his voice

"Hmm..okay i'll believe you for now, soooo just go with something casual & chic but glamourous at the same time.... Renjun glanced at his closet and grabbed a leather black pant, a black tank top and a red glittery warm jacket to pull over because as much as he cared about Chenle's fashion, it was bluing cold.

Overtime Chenle and Renjun had grown quite close to each other since they were the only chinese speakers of the group, causing them to eventually click with each other.

"So you and Jisung are quite close"

"Yeah I really like him...no wait I mean..as a friend of course"

"Yeah yeah whatever man" said Renjun as he chuckled lightly.

Renjun already knew that the other was chatting bullshit, he knew that the older had grown immensely close with Jisung as he would often see them walking around together in college and you could always see the joy in Chenle's face when he's with the younger.

<flashback - first week>

"Hey, you wanna go hang out after school?" Jisung said as he was leaving for his next class.

Of course Chenle couldn't resist this, so he said yes, they both exchanged numbers quickly and headed off to their next classes.

Immediately they were texting each other like they had been friends for years. It started off with waiting to answer every few minutes, but gave up and answered seconds after, staying on and keeping their focus on the other person and only that. It was nice to have someone genuine to talk to. It was a feeling he always anticipated for and he was loving every moment of it.

At the end of the day they would either walk together to the city and have fun with each other.

They went to numerous places, like the arcade zone and even the museum- due to Chenle's request. From admiring the art, to going to cafes and stores, they basically went everywhere around town ; enjoying each other's company more than ever.

At that moment both of them knew they were the ones for each other

Just like soulmates.

"What about your love life Renjun? Are you interested in anyone?"

"Umm...I guess I do have someone.. but they're both already taken" said Renjun with a slight pout on his face, making chenle squeal because of how cute Rejun was looking

"Wait both?"

"Uhh....yh...i....idk how to explain it"

"Is it Jeno and Jaemin?"

Renjun's eyes widened in shock from the names Chenle had said

"How did you know!?"

"Just a simple guess" giggled chenle while taking the chosen clothes from Renjun's hands.

"Let me try it on"

Hurriedly, Chenle ran to the bathroom to get changed. After taking forever he finally came out looking more gorgeous and stunning than ever.

"Dressed to kill huh" Renjun snickered way too teasingly as he tackled Chenle on to the couch and began tickling him...

For absolutely no reason. [Typical Renjun]

Chenle gasped at first by the sudden attack and started laughing loudly

"Hahhaaaahahha please stop" tickling is so painfully fun. How can something be painful but make you laugh at the same time.

Gradually the laughter died, when Renjun got tired and eventually remembered that Jeno and Jaemin were going to collect him later.

<10 mins later>

Finally satisfied with how he looked Chenle couldn't wait to see Jisung later that night. His eye's changed from curiosity to excitement as he reminisced about his recent encounters with the younger.

"Looks like my guy's got a crush"

"Pffft me and a crush...no way" said Chenle nervously

"Stop lying man" Renjun chuckled as he patted Chenle's shoulder with his hand, "anyone could tell that your simping over Jisung hyung" he whispered into his ear

Chenle began to blush, heat rushing to his cheeks, making him turn tomato red

"Is it that obvious?"

"Totally"

'Ahhh shit, do you think Jisung knows?"

"Probably, I bet he likes you too, I could tell by the way hs looks at you"

Chenle scoffs "stop being delusional Renjun and focus on getting Jaemin and Jeno instead" said Chenle as he rolled his eyes

"It's the love shot ~~" Renjun began singing making Chenle burst out laughing

"Okay I gotta go, Im getting picked up by Jaemin and Jeno later today and if I'm late then Jaemin will become moody, so I'll see you later at the party with Jisung" Spoke Renjun as he wiggled his eyebrows.

" if you hadn't helped me today i would've killed you by now but thank you for your help I guess"

"Anytime hyung" was the last thing he said before he left to meet his crush...I meant crushes**

"Chenle hyung, make sure your ready in the next 5 minutes, I'll be coming to pick you up now" said Jisung on the other line

"Okay I'm waiting for you"

And with that they ended the call, leaving Chenle's mind bubbling with excitement, exhilaration and anticipation of what's going to happen.
