Hello! this is my new fic. I'm so excited and I hope you all like it! BTW, Willow is 5 and Hunter is 6 in this chapter.

Willow woke up bright and early that morning like she always did on Saturdays. That was the only day both of her dads didn't have work and they would all go to the park together. Usually Willow would meet up with Amity there but today that seemed to be out of the cards. Originally she had no motivation to go but figured it was tradition and a great way to bond with her dads and was once again looking forward to Saturday. She got up and got dressed, heading downstairs only to find Gilbert and Harvey are ready and waiting for the young witch. She gleefully skips into their arms as they place her on the chair so she can eat breakfast. Willow finishes her cereal with a gulp and they are on their way.

The morning is peaceful, wind blows gently against her hair as Willow freely runs along the sidewalk. She stops every once in a while to pick a few flowers. The park isn't very full in the mornings, mostly because it's so cold. Today though, was sunny and warm. Just as they arrive at the playground, Willow sits on a nice grassy patch and begins braiding the flowers into a flower crown. Gilbert and Harvey give each other a sad look before walking to a nice bench to watch Willow without crowding her. She simply hums a cheerful tune as she braids a flower crown. The sun is beaming and so is Willow, today couldn't get any better. A thin and scrawny looking boy dressed in An Emperor's coven scout uniform shuffled quietly to Willow and silently sat beside her. "Oh, Hello!" Willow said flashing her biggest smile at a possible new friend. "I'm Willow, what's your name?". The boy looks flustered before muttering a quiet ; "Hunter". She smiles, "Nice to meet you Hunter! Wanna play with me?". Hunter looks down at the ground for a quick second before smiling widely at her and nodding. Willow grabs his gloved hand and drags him to the playground. "Why are you wearing that?" Willow asks Hunter, referring to his uniform. "I'm training to be in the emperor's coven." He says excitedly. "Well, once you make it you'll be my favorite scout! I'll come see you everyday and bake you fairy pies!" She says with a smile. He grins back, "Willow, promise we'll always be friends?". "Of course Hunter! I Willow Park Solemnly Swear to always be friends with Hunter Wittebane." They share a soft smile then, "Hunter, let's go buddy!". Hunter looks back at Willow with a sad expression on his face, " That's Steve, sorry Willow. I gotta go!". She smiles softly at him, "I'll see you next Saturday?". He nods and runs off.

The palace is quiet as Hunter and Steve walk in, The only sound is their footsteps against the shiny marble floors. Kikimora appears from the shadows of the dimly lit palace. "The Emperor has requested your presence" Kiki says in a demeaning tone. Steve escorts Hunter to the throne room but stops at the door, as this is probably a private matter between the Emperor and his nephew. Hunter walks in excitedly. "So Hunter, how was your trip to the park?" Belos says, "It was so fun uncle! I met this really nice witch! Her name was Willow! She's my best friend!" he says smiling wider at each word. "hmm, a weakness? We can't have that, now can we?" Belos says menacingly. Hunter's face drops, "yeah, we can't." he says sadly, looking at his toes. "Right so, I believe you should stop going to the park, from now on you will focus on your training to become the golden guard. Understood?" Belos says contently. "Yes Emperor." Hunter says sadly.

Saturday rolls around and Willow couldn't be more excited to see Hunter at the park again. In fact, she's so excited she wakes up before her dads and makes her own breakfast. She stays waiting by the door like an impatient puppy dog for nearly half-an-hour. When Harvey and Gilbert finally come downstairs, Willow is already half way out the door. Her dads chuckle and quickly grab breakfast and soon they are all on their merry way. They all arrive at the park and Willow runs to the playground and waits at her and Hunter's designated meeting spot. After two hours of waiting, her spirits drop. Her dads call her to go home. Willow cries tha whole way home.
