Sitting on my favourite branch, a slight breeze tickles my muzzle and wakes me up. I guess they were not the one either.
None of the poor Alices to ever come across the Wonderland managed to fulfil the dark prophecy that kept the dream awake every single night.
The first one, trapped inside of the forest forever.
The second one, beheaded by the queen herself.
The third one, rotten to death.
The fourth one... Who knows what happened to them.
the truth is, as the main guardian of this forgotten country, I don't want to disappear. That's why I maybe cooperated with the dream to eliminate the Alices.
Alice is indeed a special being. No metal gate, angry village or even crazy queen can stop them. Truly fascinating.
I stretch out and jump off my branch. My teacup is still hanging from my tail. I take a small sip before I continue walking through my domain.
I keep waling in silence until I reach the metal gate. Broken, melted, opened various times. It had been through a lot.
I climb it up and stand right at the top, admiring the nothingness behind the fence. What will happen next?
I have always been guarding the entrance to the Wonderland, but now, I am being reduced to just a regular cat. Is this the end?
Now, sitting at the top of the fence, with tears in my yellow eyes, I start to wonder. Was the prophecy fake all along? Or... Is there maybe a fifth Alice?
No one can know the tragic future of this once small dream, that caused the deaths of millions of people just to be remembered.
