~Willow's POV~

Opening my eyes, I've never felt so tired in my life. Softly groaning, I tried to stretch, only to find a IV in my hand and my other being held by Carlisle.

"Carlisle." I croak.

"Willow. How do you feel?" He asks, opening his eyes from his non-sleep state.

"Sore as hell." I whine, which made him smile. "What happened?"

"What's the last thing you remember?" He asks.

"The ballet studio. James tricked Bella about kidnapping Renee. Somehow, I blacked out." I answer. When I saw Carlisle's expression, he was depressed about something. "What's wrong?"

"You weren't just blacked out, Willow." Carlisle says, his voice sad. "Your neck was broken."

"What? How — How am I alive?" I ask.

"I theorize it was your powers. They somehow brought you back to life." Carlisle answers. "I am so glad you are okay."

"Same here. I'd never forgive myself for letting something happen to you." I add. Looking around the room, I saw a vase of flowers surrounded by cards, and get well baskets.

"Who brought those?" I ask, pointing my semi-good hand at the vase.

"I did. Alice helped me find them. When I saw them, I immediately thought of you." Carlisle answers. I smile as he kissed my forehead.

We stayed silent for a few minutes as he did his doctor routine and checked on me. The nurses left us alone since he told them he was a doctor. Finishing, he checked the IV fluid before smiling.

"What?" I ask.

"Someone's here to see you." He answers. But before I could ask who, he opened the door to reveal Sue and Harry Clearwater.

"Sue? Harry?" I question as they come in, calmly as they hug me. I giggle.

"How are you? In pain? Numb?" Sue asks rambling.

"I'm fine. Promise." I stop her as Carlisle stood by the door.

"Thank you for taking care of her, Dr. Cullen." Sue says.
