Dinner

After this very awkward encounter, we entered the dining room together and all the members of the royal family were all gathered round the table waiting for us to sit down so we could all start eating. A smile on the Duchess of Edinburgh's face formed as she looked at my mother who looked quite pleased that we were together. I rolled my eyes thinking that this relationship would never happen all because we couldn't even have an entire conversation. I just thought if anything did happen it would be awkward.
As the night went on, we had all finished our devine dinner and we were off to bed. Me and James were both still in the sitting room on our phones, while everyone else went upstairs. My phone went off again. James had texted me. I didn't look up cause I didn't want it to be awkward again, so I opened the text:
Y/n, why don't you come and sit next to me and we can watch a movie of your choice
James xx

I thought it was quite wierd that he text me. Couldn't he have just asked me. I looked up and smiled and went to go and sit down, he patted the chair right next to him to show me where he wanted me to sit. 'So what do you want to watch, because I'm happy to watch whatever you like' James said with a grin on his face. 'umm.. how about Mamma Mia, because I love that film'. James laughed saying how his sister doesn't stop bragging about how much she has watched it because apparently it is so good. 'Okay well if you don't want to watch it I'm happy to go and get your sister!' y/n said looking at James. He had a sad face on wanting to hug her but knowing that if he did it would probably be awkward again and he didn't want that because he really liked y/n and wanted to start having a proper conversation with her.
After they had watched the movie, James finally understood what y/n and her sister were on about he could finally say that he has watched Mamma Mia and that it was actually a good film. Both of them headed of to bed walking in the same direction as their beds were right next to each others. They gave each other a hug and said their goodbyes, but neither of them wanted the night to end. Y/n suggested that they get ready for bed and go downstairs and wonder round the castle at midnight. James was unsure as he was quite scared of the dark, but he didn't want to seem scared for y/n so he agreed.

James texted y/n again saying that he was ready to go.
Light were all out and they met up, James had a smirk on his face thinking how good looking y/n was and the same thought was going through her mind as well. Walking towards the steps they saw a flashlight on the side table, y/n held it and shone the light so they could both see where they were going. Y/n started to become frightened as she had never been in this castle before. James could tell she was scared but it didn't help that he was too, so he held on to her hand tightly, y/n stared at James. Thank god the light were out because if they weren't he would of known that she was bright red.
