The mission

Nya pov
"Uhhh yea I'm going with skylor because she has a sore throat." I sort of blurted out I needed to think of something that wasn't too extreme or else they would question what happened but then Kai said "can't skylor go to the doctor by herself for something like a sore throat it's not like she hurt her leg or something right?" God couldn't they just leave it alone and let me not come on the mission tonight would that be so much to ask. "Normally she would but she hates doctors so she asked me to come with her." I knew they weren't going to buy that skylor isn't scared of anything and I was right. I felt two warm hands on my shoulders I looked up to see my handsome boyfriend looking worried about me " honey skylor isn't afraid of doctors she is afraid of almost nothing and she is out of the city opening a new chiens noodle house restaurant on the outskirts of ninjago so what is this really about?" I gulped I couldn't tell them the truth for three reasons Master Wu told me not to tell them, two they would be so ashamed of my and to be honest I am ashamed of myself too and third they would be heartbroken if they found out about it so I thought of the last thing I could I hated saying this especially because I try to act invincible but this was the last card that I could play so I said it "umm ok the truth is" I looked at my feet and tried not to make eye contact with them I couldn't look at them and say it at the same time " umm I'm on my period and I have really bad cramps." They all looked very uncomfortable and I was uncomfortable too. Master Wu recognized my horrible lying skills but he just said " Nya you are excused from this mission go get some rest." I nodded and walked to my room once I was in there I let out a sigh of relief. I looked at the time it was 4:00 I had to be there at 6:00 sharp and I still have to shower so I changed into my robe walked to the bathroom but jay and Kai were walking down the hall to their bedroom and I made eye contact with both of them by accident I realized what I did and I walked into the bathroom and locked the door.

Kai pov
I know something is up with Nya I think jay knows it too when we finished debriefing the mission me and jay were walking down the hall to our bedroom we were just talking about how we haven't gone under cover in a while and we were all pretty excited to go to a club too because two of us can't even drink and the rest of us aren't allowed to drink Incase the city is under attack and Master Wu doesn't want us to be fighting drunk or even a little tipsy for that matter. But when we were walking down the hall we saw Nya and she made eye contact with us but looked away weirdly I don't know what it is but something is definitely wrong I think once she gets out of the shower I am going to talk to her about it because she made eye contact with jay too and looked away which was even weirder because she apparently loves him even though I act like I don't like their relationship I'm actually really happy for them and it makes me a little sad to she her kinda avoiding the two most important people in her life. Jay looked weirded out too once we were back in our shared bedroom we both looked at each other and jay said " something is up with Nya and we need to find out what it is" I agreed with him and we decided that we were going to figure it out after our mission tonight hopefully Nya isn't hiding anything really important from me after all I think I let her know that she can tell me anything.
