It was the early 1960s, and the world was changing once again. The children of William and Sandra had grown up and started families of their own.

Adrienne had married a businessman named Denver and they had three children of their own: Adrian, Zen and Janie. Brad had married a woman named Jennifer and they had two children: Nathan and Lisa.

The family had grown larger but they remained close. They gathered together for holidays and special occasions especially for Jane's death anniversary. And they supported each other through life's ups and downs.

Adrian the oldest of Adrienne's children was a rebellious teenager much to the disapproval and worry of his parents and family. But he was also smart and driven with dreams of becoming a lawyer.

Zen, the middle child was quiet and introspective. He spent most of his time reading and writing, and he had a talent for poetry. He was often lost in his own thoughts , but his family knew he had a deep and sensitive soul.

Janie, the youngest of Adrienne's children, was outgoing and friendly. She loved to dance, sing and she had a talent of making people laugh. She was the light of the family, always bringing joy and happiness wherever she went.

Nathan, Brad's son was a talented athlete . He played football and basketball in high school and had dreams of playing in college. He was popular and well liked, but he also had a stubborn streak that sometimes got him into trouble.

Lisa, Brad's daughter was a gifted artist. She spent hours drawing and painting  and her talent was recognized by her teachers and mates but she was shy and introverted and she struggled to make friends.

As the 1960s turned into the 1970s, the family faced new challenges. The Vietnam war was raging and Nathan was drafted to serve in the army. Adrian went off to college and became involved in anti-war protests. Zen struggled with his own identity filling like he didn't quite fit in anywhere.

But through it all, the family remained strong. They wrote letters to Nathan, sent care packages and prayed for his safe return. They listened to Adrian's passionate speeches and tried to understand his point of view. They supported Zen as he explored his own creativity and found his own path.
