She searched everywhere for him. 'where could he be' she thought to herself.
"why didn't you move?" Kayla asked annoyed
Hailey gave a confused look, still not able to hear people. kayla took her arm, dragged her to the hall. all Haileys life she never spoke. unless it was with close family. since kayla was her family Hailey talked to her. but in private.
"Why didn't you move?" kayla said again once Hailey removed her headphones
"I don't know, I guess it was thrown to fast?" She replied confused
"where did he run off to?" she asked annoyed by Hailey's answer
"I looked everywhere, maybe the bathroom?" she stopped talking and turned around slowly
there he was, peeking around the door, listening to their conversation. she blushed hard knowing he heard her voice.
Quickly she ran into the girl's bathroom, locked it behind her. her breath quickened, as no one else heard her voice outside her family since she was little, Hailey hated her voice, that's why she let anyone hear her voice.
Panicking her breath goes faster. she starts to fade in and out. she headed for the door unlocked it, opened it, and then everything goes black.
---------a few hours later ----------
she woke up on a bed. pain went down her spine. She layed back down to ease it.
"you fell pretty hard, so take it easy." a voice said
"will she be okay?" another voice said
"as long as she take's it easy, yes. Has this happened before?" a male voice asked.
"she has a thing for people not hearing her voice, so anytime someone, not in the family, hears her voice, she panics." a female voice, realised
"why?" the male voice asked
"No one knows. but she just doesn't like it." The female asked
Wow thank you female voice, whoever you were. She looked up, more pain as her pain she had a low pain tolerance.
"thank you doctor" the female voice said. "fainted again I see."
The female walked closer. finally she saw who it was. her mom.
A knock at the the door came.
"will she be okay?" a male voice
Him. what is he doing here?
"she'll be okay, as long as she doesn't move!" my mom side-eyed me.
Hailey moved her head gently to mock her mother.
"what is your name?" her mom asked Him
" 'him' " He replied
'How embarrassing' she thought
"we'll 'Him', im guessing you heard her voice?" Hailey's mom asked
"yeah, not on purpose thought. How often does she faint when someone hears her voice?" He had asked
"Not this bad. how did she get this bad?" she questioned him
"well game of dodgeball went wrong I hurt my hand by catching a ball coming towards her face." he started "Kayla's boyfriend threw it like a baseball. Kayla got annoyed with her for not moving fast enough, took her to the hall. and you know the rest"
