Wasp slowly walked among the trees, listening to the quiet rustling of leaves. Well, at least trying to, it was hard to hear the subtle sound under all the murmurs and roaring that echoed through the forest.

She sighed, pushing aside a small frond as she tried to head deeper into the forest to maybe escape the noise. It only seemed to grow louder as she went along, though. Leafwings. Wasp thought with a growl.

The leaf winged tribe was always there. A constant little bug flying near her ear that she can't keep away no matter how much she wanted it. Sure, she would try and swat it, but the annoying gnat would just come right back, flashing its smug little expression at her as it buzzed around.

Leafwings always complained, too, whether it was about the trees or the Hivewings. Actually, they usually groaned about those two things together. But it was ALL THE TIME.

She wanted to shout at them, PLEASE JUST SHUT UP AND GO AWAY, but mother would be mad at her, saying, 'that's not queen like, you need to be more careful what you say it you want to be Queen yada yada yada,' more lecturing on boring stuff that Wasp is sick of hearing.

It always confused her when mother did this, though. Why would you waste time talking with your enemies when you could just destroy them? Why suffer through boring dinners when you could be burning down their homes as they run away screaming?

Ohhh that was a beautiful thought. She closed my eyes, imagining the destruction, and then peace and quiet that would follow. Maybe mother would let her do that. Maybe. It would take a lot of convincing, but she was sure it was possible. Not father, though. Father would never allow that. Urgh. so that otherwise AWESOME plan wouldn't work. Stupid, mean Leaf dragons.

And don't get her started on the Silkwings. They were so weird! I mean, there's no other dragon that has four wings, and instead of eating meat like a NORMAL and SANE dragon, they ate plants. (At least the Leaf Wings eat animals! It makes them the tiniest bit better, but still completely dangerous and rude, obviously.) They ate plants.. Disgusting green things that made her want to throw up if she even tried one.

She had tasted a teeny tiny leaf off a bush when she was reallyyyy young. Of course, smarter and more older Wasp wouldn't even consider doing such an unnecessary and disgusting thing.

Baby Wasp, not as bright, had bitten off some and had found that bush absolutely terrible tasting.

She had gagged and her mother had punished her for weeks. It wasn't even worth the trouble she got into. She was convinced the plant had been out to get her. Cunning plant. Blech. No thank you, not ever again. You couldn't even pay her to do it. It was THAT BAD.

Even the 'real food' that they ate, carrots, fruit, certain forest plants, also was not yummy. Some of it was even crunchy, and that texture was plain dreadful. Food is not supposed to be crunchy.

Plus, they were way too gentle and were the most sentimental gooey dragons that ever existed. They were always talking about peace and friendship. Also coexistence between all the tribes, they talked about that a lot. (In case you aren't the smartest, Wasp was very against this.) On top of that, It was deeply suspicious.

How could any dragon be as mushy as them? It didn't make sense. They were probably hiding a really creepy secret, maybe, like they had really powerful magic and were hiding it so the other dragons living among them wouldn't suspect anything, and then when they let their guard down, BAM, death and ruin. Their kindness was probably just an act. An evil, devious act.

This SENSIBLE reasoning should lead any dragon to believe that Hivewings (HER TRIBE) are the best, and forever would be the best. The facts are so convincing that it would be hard to not agree.
