I write to thee on this new year's day with a heart filled with excitement and wonder, for I have made a most remarkable discovery in my studies of the Picto-Glyphs.

As thou knowest, I have spent many moons studying these magical symbols, recording their shapes and effects and seeking to understand their purpose. And now, I have discovered that I can manipulate their effects, directing their power to produce different outcomes.

At first, I was merely experimenting with the glyphs, trying to think of what I want to see if I could produce different effects. And lo, I found that I could! By merely thinking about what I want from the the glyph, I could control the type of effect it produced.

For example, with the Ice Picto-Glyph, I was able to create a platform of ice rather than a spike. And with the Light Picto-Glyph, I could produce a flash of light instead of a sphere. The possibilities are endless, and I am filled with excitement at the thought of all that I might create.

I am only beginning to scratch the surface of the potential of these magical symbols, but I know that with each passing day, my understanding will grow. May the light of knowledge guide me on this path, and may the power of the Picto-Glyphs forever fill me with wonder and awe.
