(MT-Prologue) : Maybe Tomorrow?

Agatha woke-up to the blinding sun that crept between the curtains.

She held her head due to the sudden headache that she felt.

Maybe she drank too much last night.

Remembering what transpired yesterday made her stomach churned in disgust.

She just caught her boyfriend Iñigo cheating on her with one of their officemates.

She really didn't like the girl when she first met her and her instinct was never wrong after all, when she caught them kissing by the fire exit.

Iñigo cheated on her.

"Hmm." She immediately turned her head behind her when she heard a moan, and that's when she realized she was lying on her bestfriends bed.

"Liam Sven Muhlach! Wake-up!" She tries to shake him awake while she gently sits up only to be surprised at her nakedness.

She pulled the blanket and saw that Liam was naked too.

She closed her eyes and tried to remember what happened last night.

They were both drunk, nursing their broken hearts, because Liam also learned that day that his girlfriend already has a son and he was devastated because of the lies, so they comforted each other as always and the next thing she knew they were kissing and then--- everything is a blur, she knows they had sex because she felt sore down "there" but she cannot remember exactly how it happened.

"God! Agatha Mnemosyne Salonga! What have you done?!" She internally reprimanded herself, she cannot believe this will happen to both of them.

Sure she had a crush on him when they were still in college, maybe even fell in-love with him at one point but- it doesn't justify what they just did last night!

This will surely ruin their friendship!

"Syete! Gumising ka nga!" She shakes him again this time his eyes half-opened.

"Mnemosyne, ang aga pa! Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Angal pa nito.

"Really? You can't remember?!" She sarcastically asked while gesturing at their naked bodies.

Liam automatically sits up as well upon realizing their situation.

"Shit!" He murmured.

"Shit talaga, Syete! God! How could we let this happen?!" She panicked a bit while looking for her discarded clothes.

"Did we- ahm, did we do it?" He asked shyly. "I can't remember anything at all, Agatha." He added and she cannot really blame him since she cannot remember it as well.

"Yes, I believe we did! My goodness Liam! This is cheating! We cheated on Roxanne and Iñigo!"

"Well, that bastard cheated on you first." He answered with a shrug and stands-up from the bed.

"Why are you not panicking Liam?" She asked.

"Agatha, why would I? Was it that bad that something happened between us? Come-on! College pa lang tayo, people already assumed that we are doing it kahit hindi naman, we just made it happen last night and we were drunk and if you are so worried, pananagutan kita." He said casually but the care he always had for her is also visible from his eyes and voice.

She just stared at him for a moment and he kneeled in front of her.

"Whatever happens Agatha, hindi naman kita papabayaan, you know that right?" He asked and she nodded her head.

She and Liam has been bestfriends since they were teens, they attended the same university and even worked at the same company which is owned by Liam's family.
