I know Charlie Watson since I was born. Her mom and mine gave birth one day apart, she is the older one. We always have been with each other but lately she has been distant and I don't know why.

I got a big crush on her since I discover I liked women, fun fact she is the first person I came out to.

I never had the courage to make a move on her. But it's beginning to be hader each day I'm not with her, and it's even harder now that she is avoiding me.

Today it's her birthday and I've been saving a lot of money for her to fix her dad's corvette. He died few years ago and now all she want to do is fix it. I help her sometimes but i'm not really good at it, I am more a entertainment than really helping.

I've decided that I'm going to see her to give her present.

As I enter her garage I see Charlie talking to this yellow beetle, at first I find it weird but it's Charlie we're talking about so it is in fact pretty normal.

I approach her slowly so doesn't hear me and I put my hands on her eyes.

Y/N : Guess who ?

Charlie : I don't know maybe my annoying best friend.

Y/N : Now I'm offended, I brought you a gift and that's how you thank me.

Charlie : You brought me a gift what a sweet thought of you.

Y/N : It's your birthday and you're my best friend it's just sympathy. I joke with her.

Charlie : So what's my gift ?

Y/N : I wasn't sure what you needed so I same money for the corvette.

Charlie : You did not ? She asks me shocked.

Y/N : I sure did, and I'm happy to give you those 150 $ hopes it helps.

Charlie : Thank you so much you're the best.

She gives me the biggest hug ever before kissing my cheek. I feel my face getting red at her action. I hope she didn't saw it. When she back away from the hug I sad at the lost of her touch but I can't let her see it.

Charlie : I'm sorry I don't have anything to give you and your birthday, I know it's tomorrow but tell me what you want.

Y/N : I just want to spend some time with you. I didn't see you that much lately.

Charlie : I am so sorry about you but I promise you I will make up to you. How we go on a ride together today in my new car.

Y/N: It would be my pleasure.

Charlie : Get in the car and going to change real quick I be back in a minute.

I get in the car and began to speak to myself  "It's gonna be fine, you just need to believe in you Y/N. And if she doesn't like you back it's ok"

She then came back looking hot as fuck but I need to calm myself.

She sit behind the steering wheel and begins to drive god's knows where.

After about an hour of us just being annoying, she parks near this beach. Nobody was there, it was just us.

Charlie : So I wanted to apologize about me being distant but I promise I'm gonna tell you everything soon.

Y/N : It's okay Charlie it's just that I miss my best friend.

Suddenly love music starts playing.

Charlie : I'm sorry it's an old car that my uncle gave me, I don't know why this music is playing.

Y/N : No it's okay I like it.

Charlie : Come with me I want to show you something.

I get out of the car and she take my hand in hers, at this moment I feel butterfly running through my stomac just by this simple gesture.

She guides me on the beach and we sat in the sand. We were looking at the sunset and it was beautiful but not as beautiful as her.

Charlie : So I have something I wanted to tell you.

Y/N : Yeah me too.

Charlie : Ok so you go first.

Y/N : I hope that what I'm gonna say to you doesn't ruin anything between us but I think I like you. No I know I like you, and it's been awhile now and ...

That's when I feel her lips on mine, I of course return the kiss. And it quickly became a make out session. But she pull away and look at me in the eyes.

Charlie : I like you too Y/N.

Y/N : Oh I wasn't sure with the kiss maybe you need to try again.

She smiles at me and kiss me again but this time it's just full of love. But it's my turn to pull away.

Y/N : So what you wanted to tell me ?

Charlie : It's okay it can wait.

We stayed at the beach a little more before we get back to the car. When I get inside the radio starts to play love music again but this time Charlie doesn't care. She begin to slide next to me. I put my arm around her and she puts her head on my shoulder, we just enjoy the moment listening to the music.

Then when the car began to drive by itself.

Y/N : Charlie why does your car drive alone.

Charlie : Surprise.
