Chapter Thirteen [Bad News]

Sabrina's POV

"Wait....what?" I said in utter disbelief and shock. "No! It can't be! I technically hate him." I wiped the tears on my face but it kept coming.

"Sabrina." Jack said coming closer and hugged me. It felt familiar.

I cried and cried. Why would Joe do that to me? Why would he...

I heard a door open and close but I didn't get up to see who it was. I continued crying. I heard voices downstairs followed by footsteps then a knock on my door. I didn't answer.

"Sabrina? It's Jack. Open up....please." Oh so it was Jack.

"Go away Jack. And don't come back." I regretted it as soon as it came out.

"You don't mean that."

"Yeah, I don't."

He came in and saw me crying. "Oh...Sab." He sat beside me on my floor and hugged me. Remember this,

When a girl cries, don't say anything. Just hug her.

"I love you Sab." Jack said kissing my forehead.

"I love you too Jack."

"Earth to Sabrina!"

I looked up "Peyton!" I hugged him then quickly let go. For some reason I had stopped crying and Jack stopped hugging me. I faced Jack and hugged him..again. He was surprised, obviously but hugged back.

"What happened to you?" He whispered.

We parted. "I'll tell you later." I faced them all..by them I mean Cory, Peyton, Andrew, Jake, Caitlyn, Rowan and Sarah. "Guys, I'll be fine." They all gave me concerned looks. "I'm sure. Sarah?"

"Yeah?"

"Aren't you supposed to be out with Clark?" I smirked.

"Shut up you." She whined and left.

Everyone left after watching Friends. Well, everyone but Jack.

"So.." I started.

"What do you wanna know?" Jack asked me nervously.

"Start from the start." I demanded sitting down.

"Okay..." He sat beside me. "So, 6 years ago we dated. Do you remember how we met?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Uh...not really. Just bits of it." I replied uneasily.

"Well, let me tell you."

- 8 years ago - (Sabrina - 7 & Jack - 10)

"Leave me alone!" I screamed.

"Or what? You going to call your sister? She can't help you right now Sabrina." John laughed.

"Stop!"

But they didn't. They kept teasing me around and there were now tears in my eyes. I tried to keep them in but they flowed out.

"Oh look, she's crying!" Francis laughed.

"Leave her alone!" Someone shouted from behind them.

"Look who's all tough. Long time no see... Jack Griffo."

His name - it's sounds so familiar. Oh yeah, he's my neighbor.

"To my office. Now." The principal said. They left while I gathered my stuff.

"Hey, you alright?" Jack asked.

I didn't answer.

"Hey, cmon I'm not a total stranger to you. We're neighbors!"
