Elena's POV
I woke up to a strange voice calling my name,this has been happening for some days and immediately I open my eyes, the voice is gone!
I stood up, arranged my bed and headed out of my room. My parents were always busy and mostly not around, so I was the one saddled with the responsibility to take care of my two troublesome, arrogant and rude brothers.
As I walk out of my room, I could already see them seated in front of the television watching one of those royal programmes.
"FRED!"
"CARLTON! Have I not warned you about this?" I asked signaling to the television.
"Duuuhh, we didn't switch to another channel, we've been watching this channel since we got out of bed" Carlton replied nonchalantly as his gaze was fixed to the TV. I annoyingly grabbed the remote from his hand and switched off the TV.
"Come on... Elena!" Fred screamed at me.
"Mom and Dad has been gone for a whole week, and you two know that they didn't drop a dime! I have been the one feeding you two from my savings. There is no watching of TV in this house till our parents are back, because I do not have any money to give the nobles if they come asking for today's tax, they'll collect TV bill, electricity bill, water bill, and space bill. So I'll really appreciate it if you guys stop making life unbearable for me!" I told them frankly as I was tired of their stupidity.
"Come on Freddie, let's go to Oscar's house before we're bitten by a dog" Carlton told Fred as they both behaved like I was invisible and walked out of the house.
"Silly kids" I muttered to myself as I rushed off to switch off the socket bringing in electricity to the house, after arranging and cleaning the house, I fried some eggs on the gas and made tea. I kept my brothers' portion in the cupboard and was about entering my room when I heard a knock on the door.
"I'm coming" I rushed over and opened the door, only to meet two nobles.
"Good morning Miss Maloy, we are from BENO" one of the nobles said as he showed me his identity card as a confirmation.
"Good day to you nobles, how can I help you?"
"We were given orders to bring you to BENO....
