CH 8 𝕋𝕣𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘(EDITED)

After the team finished and paid for their meals they started to move out to the training ground.

It was a short walk so they arrived quickly. Kakashi turned around to face his team to announce to his  students what would be their training for the day.

"Okay team for today's training-"

The young people looked up to their sensei their eyes now on him.

"Sasuke you'll train with me I have a new jutsu for you-"

Sasuke body tensed up in excitement and nodded at Kakashi with his stoic face.

"Sakura I have some scrolls on beginners genjutsu for you to look at."

Sakura looked surprised and smiled and was about to screech in cheers and how she would be so cool for her Sasuke-kun but quickly stopped after seeing how annoyed Sasuke looked.

"And Naru-"

Naruto perked up at the sound of his name and hoped it was a cool jutsu just like Sasuke or even some awesome scrolls to learn from like  Sakura.

He's been waiting all week to learn something for his ninja career. So he stood there in suspense for what his sensei was about to teach him.

" And Naruto you can keep working on your 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘢 control."

Naruto looked up at his sensei eyes laced with confusion.

"But I alr-"

"No buts Naruto you have to learn 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘢 control before anything else."

Kakashi said his voice stern showing that he had no other options.

Naruto just deflated looking at the ground silently nodding.

After that, everyone went to their own areas and started training.

Naruto walked up the tree again and sat on one of the top branches watching his sensei and teammate train.

For the past two months, he had already perfected his 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘢 control from training night and day.

But Kakashi didn't seem to notice how for the past hours he walked up and down the tree about 15 times.

How he stuck leaves on his finger and forehead and how he walked down to the pond to practice walking on water.

Naruto hoped his sensei would notice him and tell him what a 𝑔𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉 job he did and how he should join him in training Sasuke and that he was so very proud of him for working so hard.

But no he was focused on training the last Uchiha instead.

Naruto walked down the tree eyes still focused on them.

When he reached the bottom he was going to yell for his sensei's attention so he could show him that how he was at great 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘢 control and how he could train him now.

He opened his mouth already tired of today and just wanted to go to sleep and the stinging of his neck cut from earlier which he would probably have to stitch later didn't help him in that fact.

When he inhaled a breath of air his lungs suddenly started to clench up his throat felt like it was being scratched from the inside he hit his chest so his lungs would work and started coughing.

The coughing fit only lasted about 25 seconds as he caught his breath leaning on the tree.

" Hey Naruto you okay over there?"

Naruto looked up squinting his eyes which were filled with tears seeing his sensei looking at him 10 feet away.

He let out one more small cough.

"Y-yeah um I just swallowed a b-bug."

Naruto said not meeting his sensei eyes.

"Okay if you say so."

Kakashi said narrowing his eyes at the drop of blood dripping from the side of his lips. Then letting it go and blaming it on Naruto stupidity he sighed looking up to the sky seeing that it was getting late he decided to end training for the day and send his team home.

"Okay team that's it for training today lets head back."

Naruto's teammates nodded and started packing and heading out.

Naruto hung his head disappointed that he couldn't show off his moves. He looked up to see his teammates leaving the grounds.

Sakura waved goodbye to Kakashi while Sasuke just grunted a farewell. Naruto stood up and walked over to his sensei who was still waving and noticed Naruto.

"Um Kakashi sensei?" Naruto asked nervously playing with his jacket sleeve.

Kakashi looked over at the young boy and nodded to show that he was listening.

"I um...Uh could you train me too?"

Naruto looked up his blue glass eyes showing a flash of hopefulness. The older man sighed making the boy's hope dim a bit.

"Well Naruto you still need to learn 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘢 control and-"

"But I already did !" Naruto said now staring straight at his sensei.

"Yes but I'm busy training Sasuke-"

"Can't you train us both?" Naruto asked pleading.

"No-"

"Why not?"

"Because y-" Kakashi started tired of his interrupting.

"Why ?" Naruto asked firmly wondering why his sensei won't answer his question.

"𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐄 𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄!!!" Kakashi yelled out of anger not understanding what the words he said would mean to Naruto.

Naruto jumped at the yell of his sensei voice when the words finally clicked in his head his eyes lost all glow while he stood there stiff.

"𝕆𝕙..."

Naruto's dead tone brought Kakashi out of his anger.

He looked over at the boy and flinched at the sight of him.

The boy suddenly looked a lot more tired and sunken in.

You could now see how small, pale, and skinny he was.

like he was drowning in his old torn dirty clothes.

How you could see the bruise on his cheek more clearly than before.

How there was blood dripping down his chin.

How his yellow-like bright yellow blond hair was now faded blond.

How there was no trace of a smile anywhere on his face.

How his eyes looked dead and cold.

"Naruto I didn'-"

"𝕨𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕚𝕞𝕖?."

Kakashi flinched again at the sound of his voice he reached his hand out to grab Naruto's arm but stopped in the middle of his jester when Naruto just turned to face him and smiled at him with tears running down his face.

"It's okay Kakashi sensei! I get it I really do I'm just a 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚!"

Naruto said in a fake cheerful voice smiling and letting out a small 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝 chuckle as he stared down the path fresh tears still rolling down his face.

Kakashi could still only stand there frozen as the young boy walked down the path and the feeling of dread pooled in the man's stomach.
