Max was excited to start his day. He had a big adventure planned with his best friend, Lucy. But before he could leave, his mother reminded him to use his magical manners.
"Remember Max, say please and thank you and be kind to your friend," his mother said.
Max nodded his head and promised to use his magical manners. But as soon as he met Lucy, he forgot all about his manners.
"Can I have the bigger toy?" Max asked, without saying please.
Lucy frowned and replied, "You didn't say please, Max."
Max realized his mistake and quickly said, "Oh, sorry. Can I please have the bigger toy?"
"Sure," Lucy said with a smile.
Max felt embarrassed but also grateful that Lucy reminded him to use his manners. From that day on, Max made a conscious effort to use his magical manners and never forgot them again.
