"I'm leaving the house!" Tsuna called out from the door as he slipped on his shoes.

"Ah, Tsu-kun, are you sure that you don't need me to walk you to school?" His mother's reply came from within the house.

"It's okay kaa-san, I remember the way to school!" He popped his head back into the house, waving towards his mother standing in the living room before shutting the door, the sound of his footsteps fading away.

"Maaa, Tsu-kun is growing up so fast these days~" Nana had a soft smile whilst looking towards the door, before moving back into the kitchen. "We should have a nice meal tonight to celebrate his first trip to school!"

After leaving the house, Tsuna walked down the familiar path towards Namimori Elementary. Peering at the shops that lined the streets, he realised that while most of the shops looked similar to what he recalled, there were a few that were definitely new.

Pausing at an intersection, he briefly considered heading towards the direction he knew that Takesushi was in. But ultimately, he decided against it and continued towards the school, 'I should be able to find him in school today during lunch. I recall that we were in different classes till the final year of elementary.'

Jogging as the school came into view, Tsuna felt a sense of deja-vu the moment he stepped into the school compound. He didn't recall the faces of all his school mates, but it felt weird seeing the young faces of some of his bullies instead of the older version that he was used to.

"Tsuna!" A shout caught his attention - as well as the attention of some of the other students - and in less than a second, he felt someone hugging him from the back.

A warmth bloomed in his chest when he felt the familiar snap of a flame bond. It didn't feel as intense as before due to the seal, but one of the threads connected to his flames shone just a bit brighter than the rest.

"Takeshi, get off," Tsuna whined, even at the age of 8, Takeshi was taller than the average kid and easily towered over Tsuna by at least half a head. "You are really heavy."

A warm hand came over to ruffle his hair, "But you look so cute! I just couldn't resist." Takeshi snickered when a thought popped into his mind, "if Hayato was here, I would really be worried about him bursting a blood vessel after looking at you."

"We should take pictures!" Takeshi's eyes brightened before being interrupted.

"No! Takeshi, we have school!" Tsuna protested, as if agreeing with his statement, the school bell chose to ring at exactly that moment.

"Classes are about to start!" Tsuna struggled to pry himself out of Takeshi's bear hug. "I'll see you over lunch?"

"At the roof?"

"Yeah, on the roof," Tsuna shot him a smile. They both knew who else is likely to be there.

Hopefully, being back in Namimori would put him in a better mood.

'I wonder if Kyouya has his tonfa yet'

Making their way to the roof would probably be the easiest thing that they have done today.

As much as elementary classes were easy now that both of them have been through university, it was pure suffering to try and keep themselves awake so that they would not get singled out by the teacher.

Not that it really helped Tsuna's case.

Placing their lunchboxes on the ground, Tsuna and Takeshi quickly plopped down and sat cross legged before moving to open their lunches.
